(In case you or anyone else didn’t already know) You should probably NOT link your War Thunder account with the Japanese WT “DMM” stuff. Apparently you cannot use the Marketplace (and other stuff too?) if you link your account. I just learned about DMM yesterday, had never heard of it, and read the warning/caution about the issues/consequences of linking. Just wanted to post the info if you were considering linking your account and hadn’t heard about the issues yet.
EDIT: So, looks like the consequences can be serious, including a possible permaban for linking a non Japanese IP with DMM:
According to SteamDB, there’s been a drop of peak concurrent players from 85k to 75k since the Auction announcement. That’s almost a 20% drop!
Since you cannot buy these cosmetics, the only point is to make people play the game following the Community backslash.
Don’t you think Gaijin should make their game more fun to play to engage players, instead?
Moreover, don’t you see an obvious creep in requirements for cosmetics from 3 games with 70% activity to 40k mission points?
Yeah, that’s how games work, especially free to play games.
Decals =/= decorators. The decal IS 3 matches with 70%. You are comparing apples to oranges simply to try and find something to complain about. You would already have many points gained for the decorators if you chose to play matches instead of complaining about something trivial here on the forums.
Well, there’s an air event going on right now, so in order to maximize the chance of a player just spending GE to buy a task, it’s a ground-only event.
