The Vickers-designed Wellington bomber first flew on June 15th 1936. It was Britain’s primary night bomber during the early years of the Second World War, serving in attacks on Germany, North Africa, and the Mediterranean.

About this aircraft
The Germans captured Wellingtons as war trophies, after crash landings and splashdowns in Germany and occupied territories. The Wellington Mk Ic is a slow but durable aircraft, protected only by machine guns, but these have a wide field of fire. The bomb bay can carry one of two loads of bombs: eighteen 250 lb bombs or nine 500 lb bombs.
Unless there’s an intent to sort out the awful bombers damage models anytime soon or at all, this is just a plane for those who enjoy good hard suffering
Maybe Gaijin thinks we’re just compulsive hoarders willing to pay for a plane just for the sake of owning it, without actually wanting to fly it. Otherwise, they’d have fixed the bombers by now.
