Is strange, here is how I describe this:
My net, Modem → Router, and dial-up by the router. There is a desktop and a laptop under the router, both win11, both connected via RJ45 cables, and both got public ipv6 addr and natted ipv4 addr. Now open WarThunder on both, I found the ping value in game was different, 60~80 on Desktop, but 140~230 on Laptop, but the Speedtest said ~30 on both… Any advices could find out? Or if any tools could help?
Could be because the PC connected to a closer server to it than the laptop. If it persists a lot and/or isn’t a server thing, then I have no clue.
It could be due to how local servers are hosted? Warthunder uses local host servers for things like testflights IIRC. So it could be some inconsistency with the devices themselves.
Are you 1,000% sure it is not connecting to WiFi at the same time 😄? Stoobid Windows LOVES to latch on to WiFi. Even if you do not see it connected, you might want to try fully disabling the WiFi adapter juuuuuust to make totally sure there is nothing happening there.
You seem very competent and well informed, but I always always ask about WiFi before anything else when there is any issue with an online game’s connection 😂
Thanks. I can only 99% sure so I will reconfirm this seriously. What you say really makes scenes. (Is true that many pc problems is just like what you say😂
Thanks, I will take a closer look with the server choice related.
Got it, I will try another several times if I can find more regularly.
