Different loadouts between German and Italian Ju 87 D-3. Why?

Basically same plane. But:
German loadout options:
grafik

Italian loadout options:
grafik
Otherwise same plane, same BR 2.0

Can the BR of the Italian one please be lowered? Or the loadouts adjusted?
Is this a bug or would it need to be a suggestion?

Loadouts are to a very large extent based on what they both can carry/have been tested with as well as what they did carry in service for each country. However, loadouts are subject to balance to some extent and you can create suggestions/historical bug reports (depending on circumstances, information for loadouts/weapons here: Rules, Guidelines & Tips For Creating Suggestions (Check Before Creating A New Suggestion!) - #10 by leroyonly ) if you want something changed.

BR-changes happen in waves and when there is a new change incoming you can suggest a BR change in those specific threads here on the forum when they happen as described here: (Planned Battle Rating Changes for February 2025)

Maybe because the Italians used their own bombs

But at the same time, it seems a bit odd when we consider some planes share the exact same loadout between nations.

And, no buff on italian Ju-87 will be gonna happen if we thinks about inferior F-4J(UK) in UK TT compared to F-4J/S in US TT.

Gaijin is not smart enough to catch difference between those Ju87 either.

Well, if you argue historical accuracy, how come every “captured” plane, like the Japanese P-51 and B-17, or the German Wellington get the same ordnance as the plane they were “copy pasted” from (as if the new operator had ways to get the proper “enemy” bomb and ammo types delivered to them mid-conflict!), but in this case the ally does not get that benefit? This is clearly a game mechanical issue.

Weren’t the incendiary bombs, the naval bombs as well as the heavier bomb types only added rather recently, and maybe someone overlooked the “branched off” copy in the Italian tree?
(Which would make it a bug, hence my question)

I said, “large extent based on”, not “only based on” :)

I assume captured vehicles would be treated treated differently as otherwise they would sometimes not get any ordinance at all as many countries do not manufacture ammunition that would work in the captured vehicle.

That is a possibility, in that case you would need do find documentation showing that the plane did actually carry those when in use for that specific country. The requirements for what sort of documentation is needed is listed on the bug reporting site.

No offense - but gaijin’s policy regarding c+p aircraft follows their own rules. Asking for bug reports is technically correct but does not deal with contradictions already implemented for aircraft in multiple trees.

Prime examples:

German premium Il-2. Never used by the Germans and fitted with USSR payload options. German Yak-1B and La-5 FN (recently promoted) - never saw service or had access to USSR ammo for their 20 mm ShVak.

In other words:

“Missing” and “Forgotten” payload options are solely based on “balancing” decisions, bias towards or against certain nations or based on economic & game play impact. Pick one of them and you know why the 2 German P-47s have no bombs. Or the US premium Bf 109 F-4 is implemented without bombs / gunpods…

Gaijin pretending to be serious regarding accuracy and requiring primary sources for changes is from my pov just a marketing tool…

Have a good one!

Maybe we can report it, Dimensione Cielo lists 1800 kg bomb, we need one more source though.
