I started a match and got the necessary amount of points but the match ended after the task ended.
Life sucks. I didn’t get the B52 either. My enjoyment ended before the event ended.

Yeah but what would they do. I missed out they would probably just say buy it.
That’s weird… Try contact someone of the staff. Usually it’s taken into account when the match starts, not when it ends.
I don’'t really care tbh. Like I said I wanted it but anyways I didn’t get it.
Will still can get an even more modern B-52 in future (and hopefully in TT), but as other said try contacting a staff or support

Hey, i missed out it too, i wasnt even possible to me to play warthunder in generl, but i wasted 50 bucks to get the 2 bombers, and only 1 i play. I could have get so many vehicles in may, but now i wont, and you just need to spend 10 dollars to unlock the stage.
AFAIK all events are set up in same way - points are collected 30minutes after event ends - it allows to finish the battle and collect the points from ongoing matches. End date was posted in the announcement and was not changed.
I am sorry that you did not manage to get the points before the time finished, but there is nothing we can do with this on our forum.
