[Development] T77E1: The Last Cowboy + Skink & Ram II News

Nope Canadian, the USA didn’t build everything in the world you know?

The skink is purely Canadian/British

I doubt it would be enough as it is completely closed. you would need to be very near and hit directly. you will need to have at least enough penetration to go through the armor as well. it means at least a 90mm HE. Also keep in mind, that the Crusader AA Mk.II has an open hatch on the forehead which can easily be over-pressure even with 37mm yet it causes it no issue.

the glass canopy is a fake weakness. you would have much more chance to just deal with it by shooting the turret and penetrating it. besides, it’s not like the 12.7mm was so feared by a tank.

the aircraft will not have much chance to accurately hit the cupola. the HE who might not land on the cupola will do nothing to the crew. this includes the rockets and bombs that are exploding close enough to over-pressure and can’t penetrate the armor.

France was actively involved in the SK105. they did build and adapted the turret. Germany had nothing to do with the SK105 yet it had it because… if they didn’t germany would cry once again…

the Skink was not having anything to do with USA. it was built at the Montreal Locomotive workshop, designed by the British, funded by the British, and tested by the British.

if you start to claim every vehicles base on the origin of their part, you will have the vehicles everywhere. the 75mm M3 gun used in the Sherman was based on the M1897 which is a French gun, the steel used in Germany in 1935 was American and every tank used Arabian fuel… what people do with those things is not give any credit to the country where they belong to. because the Skink was built on a Ram chassis do not make it more American than the Sherman Firefly.

the M3 half-track chassis is far from having similar mobility to the M24 Chaffee. the halftrack is slow to accelerate, has no traction, and loses of lot of its speed when turning. to be honest, you are the first one i ever met who thinks the M16 MGMC has mobility as good as the M24… are you even playing those?

hit the windows as much you want, the head of the commander and loader aren’t behind but bellow.

with 60°/sec it will easily end up at 4.0 or more. If Gaijin put it lower, it will be corrected in the following patch as it would overperform and people will keep taking it at higher BR. The M16 MGMC is kept in the line-up until the M163 is available, and like it or not, it does the job well all the way. the T77E1 will be even better in all aspects.

Wait what? The skink is on a Grizzly hull

Only benefit is that they still wear the M1 Helmets. So they have more protection underneath those bulletproof glass domes.

It’s a Spike Filled Missile System disguised as an Magach.

this is during a travel position where everyone i safe. in a fighting position, they go down behind cover. just like the preview shown in the video. they will be using the episcope to see. which means they will be much lower.

they aren’t exposed enough to be hit.

Barely anyone uses the Anti Aircraft Sight, most blind fire. Which is easier to figure out the trajectory of how far a target is, that’s how i got good at using SPAA’s.

those sight are for ground targets. i think it has no proper AA sight on this. i probably use the eyes and the tracer to correct the aiming.

The canopy is only there to keep the crew safe from grenades and dust. initially, it was supposed to be Opentop without a canopy. this is also why it didn’t had any in half the pictures.

I stopped doing that, my brain does the math honestly. I’ve gotten rather deadly with Stealth belts on aircraft and with rounds such as API.

Here’s another beautiful picture of this thing.

Similar power-to-weight ratios.

You can still shoot the windows and hit them.

Why? It’s the same as most 2.0-3.3 SPAA?

It literally says Grizzly in the link.

Thought they were just moulded plexiglass.

It has plenty of sights - T77 - Six .50 Cals on an M24 Chaffee -

They said “the Skink was built on a Ram chassis”

It’s not correct, I just wanted to correct this

CAID said that, not the link he posted.

Yes? That what I said, why we have an argument about this if we both say the same thing?

Seems like we were both confused. All good. :)
