The R-27ET was hardly produced at all, but its quite possible to equip at least two. Your point being?
It has technical feasibility and the Block I in particular is not a checkmate missile.
And it’s not like Gaijin is willing to properly model the AIM-120 series either, so a compromise must be made if they are giving up to deliver a competitive airframe to US top tier.
The point is that the missile is too good to be included in the game at present. Quite simply, the R-27ET is a child compared to the AIM-9X Block 2 or even the Block 1.
Block II is kinematically and fundamentally different than Block I.
But anyway, I’m thinking of solutions on how Gaijin is neglecting the US tech tree, but if you’re okay with it while gatekeeping yourself, that’s genuinely on your end.
Enjoy getting the AIM-9X when they get R-74Ms/IR MICAs/ASRAAMs outclassing you even further lol
My point quite literally proven. So even though top tier US Air is stuggling to be competitive, you simply cant give them anything because “too op”. So what? Do we just start nerfing everyone else?
I don’t think America is weak, nor that it lacks competitiveness, but even if it did, it wouldn’t do something that would simply make America too strong.
Everyone gets limited to six missiles. Everyone’s top speed is nerfed to the same speed as the slow F/A-18. AOA and handling performance is all nerf to the same state. All missiles are reduced to the Aim-9M specs, Aim-7M, and Aim-120C. No 40g pull, no Mach 5, its all the same.
Because allowing the US to have the particular air doctrine it decides to go into is just too OP. While the US went with stealth over high speed and maneuverablity, we wouldn’t want to force anyone else to have to adapt and overcome. Just like the US suffer at top tier air. That is an incredible stance to hold.
Another day in the office, as usual. Playing up US stuff for the love of the game, while curiously getting possitive patterns on any other plane closer to the meta than US’
Mate, I have all the top tier American aircraft, literally all of them, and I don’t think they’re bad. In fact, I think they’re very good. For example, the F-15E and Golden Eagle are incredible. I really like the F-18 Super Hornet and I liked the previous one too. I didn’t feel limited by missiles or speed.
