Introducing the F-16C Block 52 and Rank IX Aircraft!

Hey everyone! In the Ninth Wave major update, we’ll be introducing some new Rank IX aircraft! This rank will feature the most modern and advanced aircraft, where some will move to it and some new ones will be added. Among these will be the new upgraded top-of-the-line F-16C Fighting Falcon Block 52 US fighter, with new weapons and an advanced radar.

The F-16C Block 52 is the most advanced modification of the Fighting Falcon family. The aircraft is in service with the US and is actively supplied to friendly countries as export. Those who have already mastered the F-16C Block 50 can look forward to many new features, including a new AESA radar, a more powerful engine, and new weapons for both air-to-air and air-to-ground combat. Let’s take a closer look at it now!

One of the most advanced features of the Block 52 modification is the new AN/APG-83 active phased array radar. This radar not only significantly increases scanning speed, but also provides a new level of tactical situational awareness. In addition to the familiar AIM-120C-5 ARH missiles, the Block 52’s arsenal includes the new AIM-120D, which features more accurate navigation using a GPS and offers increased controllable flight time. The previous Block 50’s already excellent anti-ground capability now includes the LJDAM family of combined-guidance air-to-ground bombs for the Block 52.

The thrust-to-weight ratio has also increased. The new Pratt & Whitney F100-PW-229 engine has good acceleration in afterburner mode and adds approximately 1,000 kgf in non-afterburner mode.

That’s it for this one! In short, the Fighting Falcon has become even more versatile, flexible, and dangerous in any game mode. Rank IX will be added to the game shortly before the release of the Ninth Wave major update, and soon we’ll publish the changes to research and purchase costs connected to the addition of the new rank. In the meantime, we’ll continue to share news about the major update with you!

Please note that this vehicle’s characteristics may be changed before it is added to the game.

Name your aircraft better please.

I wish it was the F-15EX. Anyway, let’s hope the AIM-120D is actually good instead of performing worse than the AIM-7.

“More powerful engine” cause we are all totally flying around all the time with no afterburner. Surely they didn’t add the Block 52 because they thought we would care for that?

i mean the EX would have been cool but the F15s already have a AESA variant and i think the F16 should get one before we get another F15 you know?

slightly better engines, AIM 120D, AEASA radar and grinding a fully new top tier jet, including stock grind, making the grind just longer.
We need more planes/vehicles in folders

So is it the full PoBIT (SABR, new cockpit with CDU, AN/ALR-69(A)V Digital RWR, JHMCS II/Thales Scorpion)? Or is it just going to get the radar?

If it’s getting SABR then it should be getting the rest of PoBIT since SABR is a part of the PoBIT program and not its own standalone upgrade.

AESA radar should have been a module, not an entire plane

Will the missile actually be realistic, though? Or is everyone just going to stick to Aim-120B?

No

It should atleast be full PoBIT :(. Lets hope that its not just aesa radar upgrade on F-16

That’s not a blk 52, block 52 still has the APG-68, only F-16V blk 70 or F16C PoBit got APG-83

If not should be called “F-16C P” because the rest of PoBIT is missing.
