Sad thing is, while there are plenty of chance other Richelieu class has something better than Jean Bart, but Gaijin butchered those chances.
If Richelieu comes with 1950 version, it has same main gun reload as Jean Bart while having more balanced AA(we know Jean Bart lacks small caliber anti air gun)
If Clemenceau comes with hydroplane, she would be the only Rank VII French capital ship with hydroplane.
Now I just have to wish Gaijin first buff Italia and RN Roma’s reload before they comes out with Vittorio Venetto(1941)
Unpopular opinion, but either the USS Washington or NC herself should be a premium. I would prefer a late war NC in 1944/45 config for premium, but the Washington in 1942 config would likely be more palatable.
I know all 13 naval players are coming with their pitchforks, but idc. I only started playing because your changes to arcade (the ones they are still bitching about) made it possible for me to actually enjoy it like I used to enjoy WoWS back when it was a game, not an esport.
the US already has a Rank VI Premium though, the only naval nations that don’t are Italy and France. And we’re on the discussion forum for the announcement of France’s rank VI premium.
They don’t need another one that’s just flatout Better. Maybe as a squadron or event vehicle, I guess, but the main deficit I can see in the US tree is it doesn’t get a second Iowa-class like how Japan and Italy and France all get two of their Top Tiers (then again, maybe the Iowa really is just so good it wouldn’t be balanced to have two)
But they will, as Iowa class is too famous, and there are not much battleship left for Gaijin, and later Iowa class and earlier Iowa class has little difference in armor
I mean i get the whole crew thing, but isn’t soyuz one of the battleships with the least crew at top tier with around ~1650 ?
It doesn’t exactly make it a bad top tier ship (understatement of the year, i know)
Point is if Jean Bart has less crew but better reload and better secondaries, i don’t know if calling it worse than Richelieu or Clemenceau (which also happens to have less crew) is justified
