Not even. France doesn’t have shipyard that is capable of building Alsace and has to expand existing shipyard before laying down keels.
At least USSR has size of docks that can fit Soyuz, thanks to Tsar who invest seriously on navy despite his nation itself is dying.

Are you pretending that Saint Nazaire doesn’t exist, or not counting it because it was occupied?
Not only allocated to aircraft carriers, even Saint Nazaire was not satisfactory to hold Alsace design. It was why they decide to build new one and Arsenal de Brest was projected to be expanded, which none of them are completed.

At least North Carolina would be much weaker in armor compared to South Dakota, which is little thankful for 8.3 balance.
Iowa should get its BR one step higher and South Dakota should take current Iowa’s place.

Type 1 with 3x3 380mm
Type 2 with 3x3 406mm
Type 3 with 3x4 380mm
2 and 3 were quickly disregarded as being too complex to build in any short timeframe
Type 1 was authorized for construction at Saint Nazaire. The second of the class would have been built in a new dock in Brest. It’s not that there were no docks available to build the ships, just that there weren’t enough

I’d rather it be Alsace, a missile cruiser will be useless at top tier. And none of the other almost-ships would be as detrimental as Soyuz anyway.
At least Nelson and Rodney not top battleship of it’s tree.
But Richelieu and Jean Bart is.
Unless Gaijin is planning Alsace class, which is not even laid down and no original compartment ever made, there are nothing better than Jean Bart in French naval bluewater tree.

Likely still the ammo explosion issue. Top tree US designs don’t explode that easily in War Thunder, thx to Gajins game mechanics.

You can buy it with ingame currency (GJN). Just play events, sell vehicle vouchers from time to time. Earn GJN and buy market place packs for litereally free. You may just wait a bit, after a year vehicle packs usually appear in 30% or 50% sales.
I ain’t got time for events though, I’m not good enough and I have too much work. But yeah I know you can get gjn if you grind events
Vehicle take forever to get to the right price to sell. It could take more then two years for them to just be 50 GJN

@Smin1080p_WT if players are saying that the Jean Bart is the best battleship for france, you saying that we should wait a bit, some naval expert are thinking of a addtion of a paper ship, people are not happy, people are furios of a toptier premnium that is actually at toptier br and better then tt, even tho gajin said that prems are a bit worser/weaker then tt, how does the devs handle this? How do they make the game better frlm these statesments? ( just curios ;) )
