I do hope that the AI missile vehicles can no longer track you through trees, buildings, hills, etc… as well as being easier to evade with eradic flying.

Right now nothing stops me from going into the F-15GE, climbing to 10 km and 1.3 M, launching 12 AIM-120Ds (or long range ARMs, or glide bombs, or cruise missiles), and J-ing out to do the same from the other airfield, except for the fact that it is boring and might result in negative SL gains (not like premium account wouldn’t fix that). The game should not reward unfun/brainless playstyles like that.
If you want to disincentivize players from J-ing out of their planes or suiciding into the enemy crowd when they run out of armament, decrease spawn points, SL and RP gained from useful actions, but greatly multiply (~x2) all spawn points, SL and RP gained in one sortie if the player lands on an airfield and not dies. That would actually motivate players to stay alive for long enough to land.
Also even if the player does not do the long range spam → J-out → repeat strat, that restriction does not even solve the “suicide into something when no weapons” problem. All the difference it would make is just that you would need to alternate between airfields, as it still takes less time to die, than to go back to the airfield.

I’m not sure if they’ve had long enough to make AI that doesn’t rely on server tracking but hopefully they’re getting there

Runway destruction systems like the JP233 would be really cool to get at some point when this becomes a well-rounded permanent gamemode

the new Respawn mechanic prevent massive furballs fights , plus it also show that you actually need to do things than Just J out and spawn back in, like protecting the convoys.

So instead of 1 big furball there will be 3 small ones. Optimal playstyle of going strait towards the enemy airfield to die while killing everything possible in the way does not change. Also nothing stops players from “protecting convoys” by keeping enemies constantly on the defensive with missile spam. I just don’t want this gamemode to become akin to a random DCS PvP server, where players just take off, launch all their missiles from 50+ km away, land and repeat

That’s more of a real life thing than a gaijin thing xd Kh-31 succeeds the Kh-58 so it’s not something to be too surprised about

Anyway, speaking of Blufor, I’m sure there’s a passive Meteor missile somewhere…

Well, yes, but selective realism was already applied many times and the only missile comparable in raw range performance to the KH31/Yj91 is maybe the AARGM-ER which hasn’t even reached IOC yet, as for redfor something like the Kh-58UShKE would be comparable.

Not been modeled yet. Just reskinned AMRAAMs.

Should be fairly decent if/when they are fixed.

Also, nothing that has them can actually be used in this event (being the Tornado GR4 currently)

Hmmm that Kh-31PD are pretty OP. I literally launched them from the airfield (almost).
