Considering the only exception mentioned is the Winter event, is the Summer one going to be removed per the New Event Cycle change as well, alongside Crafting Event?
It would matter more if the difference would be 20k,but 5k is literally single airfield rocketing in sim. So like 5 min. Okay, in tanks its two games,so like 15. Only in naval its longer than that.
If it is like previous events it will be 10, so 1k GE per star which means buying it would be $50. Its a frustration-based event for money.

10 stars on a 12 days event(basically max number of stars are 6)? (18days is equal to 9 stars)
From where do you bring that number up?
Except everyone else is going to be doing the same thing, so unless you are first to the target, first place every game, or just basically first in everything it will take many hours of grinding.
It will be exactly same as events were until now, yes. So nothing gonna change.

It matters since 40k was stupidly high to begin with and there is zero reason to push it even further, if 5k extra is no issue than we can do 50k as well, since it’s only 5k more… and then 55k since it’s only 5k more which apparently means nothing.
If we take the baseline of the average player earning a 1000 points per game and a game lasting 12 minutes on average, that’s an extra hour of work, that is a substantial amount of time to just add to something, I would hate for any task in my life to suddenly take an hour extra, I don’t want to spend an extra hour cooking food or commuting to work, doing laundry and nor do I want to spend an extra hour on a game if I don’t have to.
9x that is again, a full day of work that is just added on there, I don’t magically get to add another day to my week so I don’t want something demanding an extra day out of my week.

In the last event (Mirage 2000) it was 10 stars total, with 40k per star I think. You could buy the star for 999GE. If you wanted to buy the plane instead of earn it it would have cost 10k GE or $50. It was 8K GE if you didn’t want the camo or sellable coupon.
I personally think 30k would be a more realistic event requirement.
If Gaijin truly cares about quality gameplay and a healthy playerbase, they’d reduce the requirements for these event prizes.

I would like to see some of the feedback that was the reason for this change since most of the ones I saw was about the score required and why it should go down.
I dont really like this new system. We will have one event, the battlepass and squadron battles (for those who like it) all at the same time. This is way too much.

Really liking this approach, just hoping the requirements won’t be too high.
These events would be great opportunities to add more niche vehicles.
Would love to see weird stuff like the Churchill AVRE, the Matilda Frog and other flame tanks, the Saro SR.A.1 and other flying boats, etc. I want to see more vehicles with unusual armaments like early anti-shipping, anti-tank and air-to-air missiles being added.
Some reruns of older non-market event vehicles would be great too, I am so mad that I can’t get the Swordfish Mk II and A.C.I!

Yet out of 6 stars it means 4? 5 is a camo and 6 the coupon?

Its still too many points at 35-45k.
Starts on the 25th, so we don’t have long to wait to find out. And none of the one-offs (IS-2, SturmTiger, TOG) has a “non-sellable” option before this, so there’s no reason to think this will. I suspect it’ll either be coupon or non-coupon, one or the other each time, just one amount of stars for everybody to grind to. Same as some will be premium (the low tiers) and others won’t.
