YAY, permanent grind fest with tryhards ruining the last bit of fun there’s left in the game…
Will there be premium vehicles as well ? or just event vehicles.
Hallelujah! No more annoying “build a bear”!
There’s a lot of factors, not all of which are easy to quantify.
There’s total score available to be made per game, which is dependent on the size of the game (and in naval, the proportion of Gaijin bots, and the average amount of damage score per vehicle), and the average number of spawns per player, both of which vary by BR.
There’s also average time of match, which varies widely by mode and BR as well.
There’s also the interest Gaijin has in balancing the player pool and luring people to less popular modes or BRs with greater rewards (or just away from newbie-stomping). All these are factors here.
In the case of your example, Naval AB and RB matches are about the same length, crossmatched by BR, but the larger number of Gaijin bots in RB drops the score per game (since 3 kills of a Gaijin bot adds the same score to the pool as 1.5 player deaths). So the traditional difference in the multiplier (1.9 vs 2.2) probably adjusts for that (as well as trying to lure more people to the less popular mode).
As people have found out over these events, there’s all kinds of ways to arbitrage (aka cheese) events because the multiplier system can’t perfectly balance all those factors together.
As a general rule it’s still a bad idea to play a mode or BR you’re not good at for grinding. People should be familiar with their own score-per-game figure on their service records by mode and make decisions about what to do, and how long it’s going to take them to do things, with that information in mind.
This ignores modifiers for rank and game mode. Also implies a 20 minute match every time.
Uh-oh, someone forgot that for events tech-tree vehicles of rank 3 and up are required and only event vehicles can go lower.
These event vehicles aren’t inherently overpowered or hard to kill.
If you’re gonna actively complain about people playing rank 3 and being “new players that need to be protected from the evil old guard” Then I am sorry that someone hurt you when you started playing.
But seeing as how your most played vehicle is the german T-34-747r, a notorious pubstomper, I am sure you’re all too familiar with kicking puppies at rank 3 so I think you just lost credibility on this topic.
15min. (My own average of games when i do not die instantly)
But how is that different than now?
They’ve just dropped the annoying hoops to jump through.
8 hours is 480 minutes. At 23 matches thats 20.87 minutes per match
Yep,… count up around 5min, for eating/pissing/return to menu and stuff per game.
So 23×5 = 115 min
taking an hour to eat 60min
Loosing around 2 min to return in a match → 46 min
And 10 min. for pissing. (Unless you use a shit bucket? Then congrats you won around 10min.)
Who takes 60 min to eat? Wtf, you can cook food for 10 people in that time and eat it with them. Cooking food while playing, then eating it is like 10min.
Show me any post where i said that. I am publicly declaring that if you will, i will apologize to you.
But you cant do that can you?
Because you are making stuff up.
Not really but seeing as you have to make stuff up about me saying event vehicles are overpowered, you might be little confused.
Again not what i said.
BR of 4.0 ( now 4.7) is now considered seal clubbing, more at 11.
You’re doing what kind of shit food? ^^"
White ham + instant noodles?
Already cooked “something” that you put in microwave?
You have your standards bro,… don’t assume yours are mine aswell.
Neither, you literally can make any pasta from scratch within that time frame, or lets say bake potatoes with cream and meat.
Or you could just have an elaborate hose system to pipe nutrient rich slurry into your mouth while you play and never stop at all. Not that I know anyone who does that.
<.<
And at certain rank you unlock bipod for knife and bucket too!
“You go to the toilet, you don’t play War Thunder, you use a shit-bucket and you’re playing War Thunder”
(And there is jobs too)
EDIT : original is not mine, i just refer to it.
There’s a game with futuristic walking vehicles that has events with easily achievable rewards in a reasonable timeframe (i.e. not one that acts as a part-time job). As a matter of fact, they just had a winter event where you got 2 free futuristic walking vehicles after playing just one game with a very easily achievable score.
There’s a game with ships that has events with easily achievable rewards in a reasonable timeframe (i.e. not one that acts as a part-time job). I did get a free ship once from them simply from logging into the game.
There’s a game with ships, planes and tanks that has events with a score that requires unreasonable amounts of time for an average player with a normal life that isn’t a competition gamer or content creator.
Could Gaijin maybe learn from the first two options regarding events? I’m not a whale by any means but I’m not throwing money at you because you purposely make it difficult to earn rewards with average play. Not everyone is going to get 4k score per game or even 1k score per game especially during events. Please respect your existing player base.
All year long with bad matchmaking and teammates who do anything but play as a team, games down the drain
