Yes the President-S130 complex is indeed a huge step forward into modernization of the aircraft which was not the topic I’ve mentioned, as I said Yak-130M won’t improve a lot from the base Yak-130 at the moment in terms of weapons because we don’t know for sure. Yes it has the possibility to integrate smart weapons like radar-guided missile and more advanced anti-tank munitions like Kh-25, Kh-29 and Kh-38 but again it’s not sure. At least I don’t have official sources stating that.

R-73 are useless on the dev server currently anyways lol
just keep this yak-130 early (yes its called yak_130_early in the files) without AAMs at 9.0 as a very good dogfighter and wait for yak-130m with 20% stronger engines, 2x R-73 and flares at 11.0 (like Su-25BM)

They’ve been useless for a while, alongside magic 2s. Yank missiles still track fine though.
yeah but on the dev server they have no proxy fuse and they pull 25G. I think its bugged because I cant imagine them nerfing them THAT hard
Not sure how giving Yak-130 flares would significantly raise it’s BR ( it would raise it by 0.3 BR at most ) but yeah it proves that the lack of flares has nothing to do with the technical side of things, it’s a deliberate choice from Gaijin to gimp the Yak-130 , a strange one at that being given there are multiple example of aircraft in the game that never employed chaff/flare dispensers during service yet received them in the game …

Yeah that is my point , hence why it makes 0 sense to not give it countermeasures .
They should have just added it as the YAK 130M or YAK-131 with all the bells and whistles that the Italian equivalent has, The current yak 130 is in a very awkward spot
There will certainly be a place for Yak-130M in the future but a low BR Yak-130 armed with KAB is far more useful at 9.0-10.0 BR where the Soviet tree dramatically lacks guided AtG than a Yak-130M with all the bells and whistles ( AESA , R-77-1 , Kh-38 etc ) at 13.3BR or something like that … my 2 cents. Ideally we would get both variants at the same time but i’m glad they went with the more urgent option.

The m346 in the game is not the best, the better one is the block 20 version. It has 9 pylons AESA radar and more stuff

Do you need to suggest Yak 130M (with CM / Upgraded engines(post 2018), maybe mod 2024 with radar and R77(?) or without radar at like 11.0/11.3 ) or was it already done?
As far as I’m aware there are no Yak-130M suggestion post yet. I don’t have in depth information about it specially the weaponry capability with official sources or secondary backing up the information rumoured about the airplane at the moment.
