Now, I know there may be some complications with doing this but it seems slightly possible that there could be a dev server type thing on console
From personal experience it’s quite frustrating just waiting, and waiting for an update to drop just to play some new features while PC players get them all without an issue, they just have to download it

I believe not, it’s a seperate client and would require excess developer resources to port, although they could open a permanent dev serve styled client similar to how dayz experimental is on console, to test new features

Or they could do something similar to Minecraft where it’s displayed as a different game on the home screen, but is the same game, just with the added features
A bonus of that would be less downloading times
The Battlefield series did this as well (Community Test Environment) and it was amazing.
I totally agree, I think it could be a possibility for the summer update if gaijin decides to implement this, would be very fun for console players
