I’m not defending the F-14 Iraf’s loudout, as far as I’m concerned, it didn’t even exist in the game

Most of the features that make it worse will still be competitive at 13.7. It’s too early to say right now what Tape or variant Gaijin will choose. They might even consider an ahistorical variant just to make it equal.

It’s already set a precedent, and the F-14D being capable of data linking to AIM-7Ps is far more likely than the literal impossibility of the A IRIAF firing R-27s.

But the existence of one does not justify the other that is personal bias

You don’t get to decide that, given Gaijin has already added the IRIAF and to this day has not changed it despite having every opportunity and plenty of feedback to.

I know it’s not me, but from what I can tell, this gaijin agrees with me. though who knows what tomorrow will bring

Anyway it make sense. It already have the same name as the tech tree variant.
Plus I already have spaded all the french aircraft I don’t need a competitive premium.
It will be alright.

Although I appreciate these changes. These were the least needed SPAA changes in my opinion.

We. Need. To. Balance. The. BUKs.

BUKs fire at you right after takeoff and intercept basically every single munition. This whole game mode feels like a “defend against 4 BUK missiles coming at you” simulator.

Even if you manage to multipath them or notch, which by itself isnt even that hard, the second you gain even a LITTLE bit of altitude, you already get locked by some of them again. And heeeere we go again, defending against BUK missiles.

This cycle continues throughout the whole match. And no, making the SAMP/T stronger to “balance” this wont fix the actual underlying issue. People are mad because this mode is slowly turning into a missile defending simulator. Fix it, instead of just making both sides unplayable, lol.

Why does red team even get a SAM that is capable of still shooting evne if radar unit is down? At least balance this by spawning more SAMP/T radar units. Or greatly decrease reduce lock range by launch units if radar unit is dead.

  • Decrease their range (especially when Radar unit is dead)
  • Add Ammo limits (ammo depots exist for a reason no?)
  • Change the rate of fire

The fact that you dont even MENTION the BUK even though this has been the biggest issue mentioned by players so far is beyond disappointing. At this point im convinced that none of the Dev team or QA team have even playtested this mode (atleast not on blue team). Cuz aint no way QA testers or devs played this and were like “yep, this is balanced, fun and a great look for us”.

Im coping so hard with the thought of this being unbalanced and oversaturated on purpose to just test server stability and stuff. Im really reallly reaaaallyy hoping this is it.
