I’m not finding the source stating the speed to check exact value tho.
The AHEAD is the KE-AB. It’s programmed to explode at a certain distance when exiting the cannon. The GPR-AB-R works with a proximity fuse. It’s different from AHEAD as it will explode only when detecting the target with its debris. Overall, from my testings, I find the KE-AB far more reliable
If you want to report it then.
AKERON is always fired from tripods so they always fire upwards like the jaguar.
Got it! I just know in the past that this has been one of the major barriers to successful reports, and wanted to make sure too much frustration wasn’t encountered.
I can vouch for that. In my own experience, the KE-AB is far more consistent than the GPR-AB-T. I had a better time destroying aircraft far away from me with the APFSDS than the GPR-AB-T
Does this exist in War Thunder?
I think he meant GPR-AB-T since T and R are so close to each other
Ah, I see. But this shell is supposed to also be proximity capable, yes?
As far as I remember, it is programmable, not proximity but don’t quote me on that; I’m relying on the suggestion page’s information (EBRC Jaguar: Reconnaissance Enters the Future)
I also found a brochure of the Akeron MP mentioning how the missile is able to fire “in low-altitude direct attack mode.” I don’t know if it’ll help, but we never know.

Here’s the link to the brochure: https://mbdainc.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/Brochure_AKERON-MP.pdf
Thank you for that, will be stealing it.
Akeron MP has incorrect minimum range // Gaijin.net // Issues
Silly question, do we have the KE-AB (P33) (export model) or the KE-AB (P66) (French Army model) on dev ?
I don’t thing Jagaur can even fire P66, so P33 it is
Does the color seem way off to anyone else?
Not that important really I suppose, but something I noticed right away.
Also the giant LWS? rod coming from the roof… is that accurate?
LWS are the 2 squary pyramid on both corners of the turret
The giant thing in the middle is a set of microphone which detects gun shot, identifies them and pin points their origin. It won’t be modelled in game at least for now for obvious balance consideration i’d imagine
As for the Rod in the rear tight of the turret, i think it’s just an antennae
