I think Derby-ER is needed for the SPYDER thats currently lacking in many things, one of them is range. Now that we have SAMS with 50 km of reach, its only reasonable to give the SPYDER its historically accurate DERBY-ER with a 40 km range**** (effective range is probably less but you get it).
i see SAMPs and Skysabres RACING through the sky to their threats, and my shitty derby SR cant even hit a target beyond 9 km. Gaijin fix.
It’s very weird that the SPYDER was moved to 12.7 but it still only has 10km max engagement range
At first i thought “maybe we will get it next update” but as the dev server updates keep coming and we still dont see it… wtf bruh
why is the CLAWS at 12.3 and SPYDER is at 12.7?? even claws performs much better yet its put at a lower BR

I have bad experiences with the derby in air platforms at low alt

IRL I-Derby ER can counter low flying planes, but in war thunder? if it’ll be able to counter low flying planes they should ATLEAST make the range 30-25 KM like the Iris-t since it has IR missiles and they counter low flying planes
