Also the facility should be marked for both teams because if the US side was conducting a strike they would already know where the facility was not that it takes a long time to find it just a small gripe

Or decrease in target number by grouping some of the bigger ones together, and increasing HP to give a reason to bring actual bombs

Imo it would be more interesting if they had some of the SEAD mixed in with an S-75 defending instead of Rapiers, and toning down the shilkas a bit

Yeah the rapiers make any sort of multipath strategy almost useless also the amount of fully loaded f4s that still try to maneuver with MiG-21s is crazy

I mean you really don’t have a choice sometimes. They outrun, out accelerate, and outturn you, but you might be able to stretch it out and get a kill or 2 on any other MiG’s by manuevering

You don’t but the F4 in open air can out run the mig-21 easy

The MiG is a lot lighter and has a lot less hanging off it

Yeah but there’s a jettison weapon pod option if you’re in the sh it’s a good idea it’s also a good idea to have some players running purely air-to-air

Yeah, I mean usually I try to get in good position for an AIM-7E-2 since that’s your biggest advantage, and doesn’t depend on your loadout. But I’ll keep the outrunning thing in mind, I always thought the MiG’s were faster at sea level

Nah mig 21 (depending on the variant) has a 0.7 to 1 thrust to weight ratio and the F4 has a 1:1 if you bring a little less fuel
One f4 phantom engine still makes 800 kgf more thrust than mig 21

You read my mind. It really feels like Gaijin had the unpaid intern spend an hour modifying the SEAD event to create this mode.

For the size and popularity of this game, it’s shocking that Gaijin just can’t seem to come up with ANY new game mode ideas.

This event is VERY low effort.

The best part about it is the fact that its damage is based on individual structures instead of a health bar. That alone would do a lot to improve base bombing/strike aircraft gameplay. Instead of players racing each other to destroy a base, they would have to make multiple passes and get points based of the number of buildings destroyed. Even the existing bases have different portions that can be destroyed. This would incentivize players to use their skills and knowledge instead of just dumping a load of bombs or napalm on a giant health bar.
