Tell that to gaijin, it needs some minor adjustments but it’s fine the way it is
i hope that this will mean that we get more stuff to actually do in Air Realistic Battles and Air Simulator battles. i truly do miss the multiple objectives that were standard in the early game maps.
Am I the only one struggling to lock the targeting pod onto Migs with the AH-1F?
It’s basically defenseless without the automatic target track
Isnt that a bug since last major update , where helis/aircraft in general cant be targetted properly by Tpods
Take away the ZSU or reduce the accuracy. Allow AGMs for the F4E, or allow us to have our own loadouts. Also allow it to be spotted on map once it gets hit by the USA.

Reduce the accuracy of the SPAAGs, this is a well known and heavily reported issue from the past 2+ years from the ASB community (yes devs, that gamemode does still exist). They react too quickly and are too accurate. The necessary code already exists and was added to ships in Leviathans. Apply the same to the AI SPAAGs in all gamemodes.

SAMs need to give more of a warning, it might be poor RWR in the F-4E, but im not entirely convinced the SAMs are always triggering the RWR (will do some more matches to confirm) ( I would also add a delay, not long, but a second or 2 between hard lock and firing)

The F-4E sucks, its a terrible ground attack aircraft with extremely limited potentail to perform tactics like lofting. Fly high and drop bombs is a poor test of the SPAAGs. Add dedicated ground attack aircraft like the Tornado .Let alone the fact this gamemode should be about the ground attack and having a single aircraft is really dull.

No meaningful SEAD gameplay at this time, its just run the gauntlet and hope.
-
CCRP doesnt seem to be working properly. Sometimes it works. sometimes it doesnt, making loft attack profiles near impossible.
-
Bombs seem abnormally in-effective. Its wierd that the best weapon for destroying an oil refinery is rockets / the emphasis on destroying all specific buildings is a bit of an issue, perhaps change it so that you only need to destroy X amount per refinery to take it out of action (as we have seen recently, it doesnt take all that much). Alternatively, add CBUs

Make the ground target visible on the map so that a CCRP marker can be placed without direct Line of sight. This would be a reasonable subsitute to GMR or pre-programmed coordinates.
That still hasn’t been fixed???

I dont think so. At least its not in any patch notes. Likes its been 2 months since the first reports for buggy GBUs was reported
There was back in around 2014 when I first played the game, they just removed it
That was in name only. The ‘historical’ mode you are remembering is now called realistic.
Yeah I’m probably misremembering it, I was 6 back then when I first played anyways
You may be correct in a sense though. Back then there were far fewer planes and one can argue that it was more historically accurate than today. Maybe thats why they changed the name
do you guys plan on testing this with higher br planes aswell? Trying this with non fox3 4th gens would be pretty fun imo
Su-27s and MiG-29s against F-16s with ground attack kits escorted by F-15As
Not quite sure what to do when I got a Mig-21 behind me except 1. hope a teammate bails me out, 2. the enemy crashes somehow, or 3. die
Going vertical seems to semi work.
Thanks, I’ll try that
phantom pilots in vietnam:
Can’t argue with that haha
All the f4e has over the mig21 bis is top speed… the moment the mig 21bis is on ur 6 u just die lmao (in terms of fm)
Big step forward for no markers, one more and we will lose it for friendlies further than 1-2km and IFF will make sense. Another step backward for one point of interest and player concentration in one point of the map
