Yeah, it is a better F4J but at the same br.
Not even joking, you have to; improvise, adapt, and overcome. I don’t know if you have flown the harriers, but if you have, you know they are total bricks, yet I can still outperform some people in a full uptier to 12.0 when it sits at 11.0, sometimes they also teach you valuable skills, that you can use one you progress further than that.

F4S is a plane than can be played without kayboard, mouse only
Su-27 is under-BR’d as well as being 13.0 not 12.0.
And F-16 is quite easy to deal with for being a 12.7 cause all it has over you is flight performance and 9Ls.
F-20A is an F-16A with 15 less flares, and 1 degree less per second of sustained turn rate.
EJ Kai performs just fine with much lower maneuverability and no HMD

I don’t know if there is a significant difference between the F-4J and F-4S, but when you fly the F-4J/S to it’s strengths when possible, its a good plane. Personally once I spaded the F-4J I was getting 2-3 kills against F-14, F-15, and F-16s, so I don’t really see how people think the plane is that bad.
So I have a few friends who bought the F4s amd are decent at the game not the best but not the worst and they say its pretty good for the BR. I trust them a lot and when they say its good the mean its good.

the radar isnt amazing but its perfectly fine for its br
its functionally identical to the radar of the f14(minus tws which would not help anyway)
the mig23ml/mld in comparison has the mti radar which loses all pd functionality at medium to high altitudes
and only 2 radar missiles the f4s carry’s up to 6
if not carrying bombs its still very fast given how huge it is
also pretty sure its almost impossible to speed rip a f4 which is very easy in anything russian
dude, I’ve used the F-4J, which is even worse than the F-4S and still at 12.0. It does fine. The Navy F-4s would stomp if they went down any lower. I agree that decompression is in order, but that is a completely different thing than what you’re suggesting.

The F4EJ Kai is at 12.3 with a similar missile loadout and slightly better radar, and it is excellent. It doesnt even have the Agile eagle upgrade that I believe the F4-S does?
This is 100% not an aircraft problem.
Kurnass 2000 is also at 12.3 (what many agree is slightly overtiered) but even with only Python 3’s it is really good. i think it might be the pilot not the plane :) rofl

I dont know a huge amount about the Kurnass as I havent flown it, but what I do know is that if the F4-S is “only” worth 11.3, that must mean the EJ kai (and clearly kurnass) should also be dropped to 11.7, and that sounds like it would become one of the most OP planes in the game
they would probably be the best jets at that br if they were for some reasoned lowered. i dont think the op knows that the F-4E’s are at 11.3 with only AIM-7E’s and non PD radars lol (are we gonna ignore the fact the original post has been completely changed from what it was?)
