Did this only effect vehicles given Karelia’s air command flag had a Hikaristi for quite a few years last I checked I know they dropped it a few years back.
Yep, only vehicles.
Flag had it quite long time and also it was in air force emblem until 2017 or 18.
But as fun fact, It is still in use in Finnish Presidential flag, and it is bit different from main flag. For obvious reasons, I cant add pic from it, but you can Google it

They also censor Finnish swastikas even tho that one has nothing to do with the Nazi bloc at all

Well - you could easily solve that problem, give us WW1 aircraft as the actual first tier of aircraft and BR. Whether that means it being ‘BR 0’ below 1 or shifting all the other BR’s up 1 or 2 levels depending on how many planes are between the first aircraft and the current mostly inter-war planes. The foundation of everything we play and use here, tactics, everything started there, it should be part of the game.
Even better if it means that some of my favorite aircraft, like the F6F, move up at least 1 rank so that I can use them for daily challenges or battle pass missions again, even though the F6F should have never dropped out of Rank 3 to begin with.

That’s exactly it.
It’s not the censorship that’s the problem, it’s how they do it. They swap it for something “plausible” that gives no hint censorship even happened, and no hint of what the original symbol was. Thus players could easily walk away thinking Swedes actually used crosses as insignia, that the German flag really had an Iron Cross in the circle, or that German planes carried no tail marking at all. That’s basically rewriting history more than censorship.
They should settle on one design choice like this and apply it uniformly. Right now there are about three different designs replacing the swastika in the game.

thank you for not making it done by spaas only (lol there’s no true japanese one before the type 87). I think the type 60 sph is gonna be my go to XD
so its the 13th and i tried grinding the grinning skull emblem. Played two matches with Britain 7.7, first one was a victory, 92% activity, and it didnt count. Re lunched the game and it still doesn’t count. Did i miss something or the progress is bugged?
Edit: missed the criteria of finishing the mission on a ground vehicle.
The problem with that is, that it is easier to create a swastika with those box lines by putting the iron cross decal in the middle of it.
And while I also think it is silly to censor it in historic games and movies, it is just a very difficult legal maze in Germany, and many other countries, with regards to the symbol (plus often also results in higher age restrictions), so for Gaijin and most other game makers it is just easier to avoid that pandora box all together.
Thematic set of monthly decals is a jolly good idea. +1 gaijin.
