Gaijin legal team could go and start talking to many other game makers and their legal team, how it is possible to actually use em instead :D

Case by case…as i said. and in a game where it shows up on historical uniforms or vehicles and the looks cant be changed to “I love swastika” or whatever bs ppl will come up with is entirely different from what it will be in game
Swasticas get nuked almost every time, you can’t use them for marketplace skins or even screenshot competitions.
Even if they appear in historical images you have to blur them.

which tells me theres a reason for that. i dont have to question why that is. pretty clear there would be major legal trouble, and 20 dudes on a forum that want it different wont change that.

yeah, and even that they are not hmmm, german swastikas.
I just hate it , that we cant get proper FInnish plane markings , etc for this reason…
i mean will a slightly altered swastika change a historical plane skin that much? they are usually not that big on the planes no? basically everything else can be dead accurate…like if you changed it to look like a “window” square with cross inside?
Tbh I’d rather gaijin use post war camos over screwing over a camo with the ugly cross they did with the Finnish vehicles. At least post war is more accurate. They could’ve defaulted to the post war roundel over the cross.

Mainly small ones on the tail yeah.
But for example look at the Bismarck one, they still passed a camo with an altered version, to keep it similar to the real ship.
if youd get that roundel as a decal you could just paste that over?
Could be tied with age restrictions and such, which is understandable.
Then again, if I’m not mistaken WT age min requirement is already pretty high.
Yeah at the cost of needing to make that roundel the size of the wing which looks like gaijins lazy design when Finnish ground first got added and they made the roundels massive on the tanks versus how they are irl.
This is how they used to look which is ugly AF and not even slightly accurate
yeah, i got that one. its a damn fine skin. i dont need the world wide known sign representing a major genocide and the sign that stand for the political system that was responsible to start a world war with millions of deaths on it. Everything else looks neat, the skin is sick and how the ship actually looked. No need to sail around with a giant swastika on the deck.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not asking for swasticas to be in the game.
If gaijin’s policy is to have them blurred so be it.
Specifically I’m using this as a reference notice how big the cross is compared to the roundel in terms of how it was irl? Aircraft would be in a similar vein. Trying to cover up gaijins sloppy work makes the aircraft looks 90 times worse because it gets absurdly large.

i get the whole historical standpoint. still it opens up too many bs possibilities that, the way i experienced players in wt, definitely will be used.
