During World War II, the People’s Republic of Mongolia played a key role in supporting the Soviet Union’s war effort. One of the most notable contributions was the funding of the 112th “Revolutionary Mongolia” Tank Brigade, a Soviet unit equipped with Mongolian-supplied tanks, uniforms, and supplies. This support was both symbolic and material—and it deserves recognition in War Thunder

Historical Background
The 112th Tank Division (later Tank Brigade) was created with funding and material support from Mongolia. It saw action during the Battle of Moscow, was re-equipped with Mongolian-donated T-34/76 and T-70 tanks, and received the Order of the Red Banner for its service. Later honored with the title “Revolutionary Mongolia”, the unit remains a symbol of Mongolian-Soviet cooperation during WWII.
Mongolia’s support also extended to the Mongolian Arat Squadron in the Soviet Air Force. These contributions are still commemorated in both nations.
