I fully understand the thought behind but, for the sake of gameplay i still hope it get 8 MICA.
Is it a fully fictional loadout tho ? No because as its shown in multiple, the SAME aircraft version can carry the 8 mica loadout (indian one)
Sure its not the French army F3R, but should we really limit ourselves to that ? its not like the 8 aam loadout on the 2K5F is realistic at all (and the a2g loadout on it too).
And do you really believe they would fix the MICA EM performance just because the poor Rafale only has 6 of it ? Look how they nerfed the grippen (and it only has 6 missiles too). The poor MICA performance are due to the game limitation with thrust vectoring AAM. (sure the the larger size does not help the drag too).
If we stand with your pov, then no fictional loadout like Yak141 or M2k5f, nor the ones on the M4K.

Yes, the radar currently on the dev server is the PESA (with a few minor changes), the main change to be made currently concerns the optronic system which does not correspond at all to what is announced by certain sources
Lots of ways to fix it. It’s not a hard limitation.
Are we expecting a proper AESA radar? No way we are keeping PESA???
Because you really think they will ungimped the MICA ???
Reports have been made for months, and guess what ? it is still gimped.

Well i shorted the reason why it performs like that, youll find the reports on the dedicated MICA thread.
But like most of Thrust vectoring AAM, its a limitation.
Small change can be made to correct the other issue but it wont give us AIM120 range

RAFALE should be reclassed as F.2.2 because it makes no sense to have a F.3R without Meteor or Mica-IR.
I’m saying this, because i would prefer to grind an F.2 now and grind an F.3R when game would be ready.
