That’s a huge IF. You’re assuming they would add them with only Magic 2 IRCCM, or worse, ET’s. But that’s complete speculation. The only examples we have of imaging IR missiles right now (TY90 and there’s a SPAA one IIRC) in the game use combined seeker shutoff and gatewidth.
Could it actually only carry that many?

You actually think that they will add MICA IR with its full potantiel? Please, look at what they have done to AAM3,MICA-EM or R27ET.
Its obvious they are gonna add MICA-IR with nerfed IRCCM capabilities, this is not even a question or ‘‘IF’’.

That’s the true load, but the bug report clain a 10 missiles loadout (his sources are picture of the Rafale A, F4 and F1 witch don’t make any sens).
The big problem is that many content creators don’t know how to do research and have reported atrocities and many players don’t look further.

I have two pictures of Rafale F2 fighter taken by the Chinese at the Paris Air Show in June 2009. We can see that there are two additional Mica missiles in these two pictures

Are you sure about this ? In the first post there’s a pictures of pylons with 2 under wings for F3R variant.
And meteors, which the version we have in game doesn’t have
And ground images can in no way be evidence, many aircraft on display are displayed with unrealistic payloads.

First picture shows F.4.1. Second picture was a Demo, i.e. “what if you buy this and that as config”.
Service introduction of 8x MICA was done with F.4.

It’s also carrying Meteor which was not a thing in 2009. It’s probably more of a proposal for a future F4, which we ended up seeing
Oh ok so we’re straight up getting a downgrade from the 5F. Wow. That sucks royally. 6 missiles is a very light loadout for current air RB.
Might as well not add IR missiles at all in that case. I’d rather play full EM.

I mean, historically and technically, the M2000-5F should only have six missiles as well, but thats a different story.

6 Missiles is fine. This game has a major issue with artificial buffs/nerfs.
