just give hard limits on aoa for tvc missiles like 73 or mica, boom issues with spinning out would stop happening
okay this is just wrong, japan developed their own hmd for f-2 that was either never actually put on it or it was just shelved/ceased to be developed if i recall correctly, I don’t think it was ever meant to use jhmcs or scorpion. although this is off topic
MICA actually got a non variable PID (Hard AOA limits) which is why it stopped spining out in most cases. R73 still has variable PID so it’s more reactive than MICA off the rail or on high bore shots but more subject to flatspins.
Honestly, I don’t see the problem with this, everyone wants their favourite aircraft to be the best. But in the end, that campaign means nothing if Gaijin didn’t accept it or simply just “Forwarded as suggestion”.
Rafale is indeed the most meta aircraft (I speak in Air RB here, just to make it clear), but it is not the most game changer aircraft since everyone also had Fox 3, unlike F-14 that used to dominate every single battlefield simply by just spamming.
If the problem was because of Rafale being too overpowered at its BR Bracket, then the solution is to decompress the BR.
I don’t recall this thread being the go-to thread for advocating for fixes of aircrafts not named Rafale. People shouldn’t be complaining that fans of the Rafale are advocating for fixes of the Rafale, it’s like complaining that water is wet.
Interestingly all the same people who complain about inconsistency of the fixes being applied to the Rafale and not other aircrafts are the same people who have not opened a dev server thread to advocate for implementation of fixes to aircrafts that they would like to see fixes for.
So why not fix the plane by advocating that the devs hold it to the same standard as others? Why not fix the plane by removing the HMD that was only tested with it? Or removing the 2 additional pylons that the French Air Force does not use? Or removing the datalink IFF that no other fighter in game has?
