Do people even read the bug reports … ? Dassault Rafale - Variants, Characteristics, Armament and Performance - #8546 by DirectSupport
ok that is pretty impressive
That is a lot of references
i dont think you will ever see a rafale do this in actual match (the fuel amount, being slick, and Rafale A being lighter i think), but the fact it happened in testing is pretty cool
Rafale A is a bit bigger in size, but also a tiny bit lighter than the C in game (9.5t versus 9.7t iirc). I don’t know how much those 2 cancel out but the Rafale C is also said to keep the flight performances of the A.
Also, a 55 minute flight with no AB with a max thrust at 80% also gives an idea of the minimum fuel brought for the flight (since there’s a chart of m88 fuel consumption somewhere). We could expect the supercruise to have happened around the half way mark of the flight as well.
And since we know the date and time it flown, I’m sure it’s possible to find the flight conditions of the flight if there’s archived available
And the report has been closed. That didn’t take long.

5th Gen Jets is coming…
The biggest mistake developers make with Rafale is that they skip the Early variant.
I don’t know what their intentions were, but for someone like me who wants to see a variety of Rafale, skipping F1 and F2 seems like a mistake.
agreed, i dislike when they skip earlier variants of jets unless there is a really good reason (in most cases including Rafale there really isnt)
MICA NG under going qualification trials. It seems they tested the IR variant this time
Yeah that is why i saw one article saying that the f4.2 would be qualified “in the coming days”
This and this ^^^
This thread once again, receive another Cope Invasion despite being told to not stray off from the topics lmao.
The tech mod is completely in the wrong this time, now just a matter of finding another tech mod to review it.
Now we just need MICA VL NG testing and we’re all set.

I love this photo
There is indeed quite literally nothing relying on “guesses” in the bug report.
Sometimes, it looks like even Tech Mods don’t read the bug reports.
Or perhaps it’s the tale as old as time of Tech Mods being biased against France …
