wait until you see the EF thread

Yeah the **** measuring contest is getting really old (and it goes for some fans of each plane)

it was about the Brimstone seeker, or something and a certain person that is active in here was like:
“I dont accept these sources, because it dosent line up with my views”
(atleast thats what i got from those messages)

Yup. Getting really frustrating going into a thread to learn more about a vehicle, just to see people arguing and 500 flagged posts :)

I’m really thinking about creating a “Rafale vs. Eurofighter battlefield” topic so that people stop arguing in more thoughtful topics.

Almost wanted to right that one down in my previous message

I would but I’m already on thin ice with forum bans and I can’t afford another incident

Isn’t Scorpion originally American though? Dont get me wrong I’m sure it was changed to work with Rafale better, with the stuff it displays and everything, but it should be a copy paste US Scorpion no?

the Scorpion is from Thales, thus making it French :). Im not sure if any of the HMD’s the US use are domestic, cause the JHMCS is from Elbit.

welp I done it.

here you go

JHMCS is from Raytheon and Elbit

And Scorpion was originally from US company, but then Thales bought the HMD part of the company. I know this because I’ve asked a related question before (is the scorpion HMD on ANG F-16 the same Scorpion HMD on Rafale?)

Somethings violently wrong with the Rafales max G-load:

Spoiler

It quite easily survives 20g+ pulls with varied fuel loads and full MICA loads, well above gaijins stated 1.5x max G-load multiplier, which would need to be 16.4G irl to match the G-loads its able to pull and survive in-game.

It seems the only real limiting factor this airframe has are the lift limits and speed limits of the wings.

Finally

so cool…

The thing is Scorpion HMD has unique design thus it deserves to be modelled.

Compare to JHMSC it features fully carbon fiber and smaller design, thats why Rafale should get its unique pilot model.

Oh ok, that’s what you meant. Yeah, scorpion equipped jets should have different pilot models

@k_stepanovich Will we ever see implementation of multiple search beams for AESA radars? AESA radars are capable of having multiple radar beams for searching in modes such as TWS.

Multiple search beams can even be seen here in this Captor-E AESA radar video at 1:41
