- This is based on a Catherine MP IR training, not MMV training.
- Nowhere does it says it is the pinnacle of the capabilities, it explicitly states “training examples for each object class”. Does not say it is the limit of its capabilities.
- Going by the source terminology, class recognition is a part of a threat ID. The system is supposed to recognize the class of the target, and then it matches from a database.
Ive generally tried to keep the thread related to the Rafale and this isnt the first, nor the last time ive stated stuffs gotten off topic and needs to go back on track. Feel free to check the comment history if you dont believe me, I dont care enough to deal with ppl that are angry at me for being one of the rare Rafale fan that thinks things should be balanced in the short term and accurate in the long term to interact with you any more than I already have.
If the result of your efforts to make the Rafale Thread relevant is this mess, have you ever wondered if you’ve gone in the wrong direction?
Can we stay on topic and this not the place for arguing with each other if you want to move that conversation to DM’s instead.
Su-27 doesnt really need it’s Radar as much though as it thrives in the short to medium range late game. It’s weapon systems are designed as such R-77 and R-73 and even R-27 are all pretty lethal in short range.
Typhoon really needs to be able to use it’s Radar to make that limited payload count.
We are also comparing an older mechanical scan Radar with the most advanced mech scan Radar in the game.
Are you for real?
I wouldn’t say it’s fm is correct after I’ve just seen a screenshot of the ravioli pulling 24G 💀
Don’t you see this warning?
Looks great! Not to be a beggar but could we maybe get some in this camo if you get the chance with that friend?
And maybe help out a little here too ;)
I’ll definitely give it a try
Peak right there
Differences in Typhoon and Rafales radar is pretty relevant.
by all means report it
Bringing up “EFT” again in a thread where you’ve been warned multiple times doesn’t show good intentions.
Please go to the EFT thread
ngl having the “screen” only in front of one eye seems kinda bad
something something russia did that in the 80tys /s
Perhaps for some technical/economic reason that is unknown to the general public :)
but it seems weird to me having it only infront of one eye
like imagine the eye-strain from playing VR but only on one eye and also clarity could be a problem with one eye not being able to see the display
Having the screen on a single eye is a slightly more considered choice than it seems. It allows for a sense of distance (HMDs can cause a “flattening” of what you see). Having it on only one eye allows you to have both the information and this perception.
Furthermore, the system can be moved on the helmet, allowing it to be positioned in front of the pilot’s “aiming” eye. And since the way you see things is based on this eye, it doesn’t impact the perception of information at all.
