Dassault Rafale - Variants, Characteristics, Armament and Performance

It doesn’t give them the high they want from taking this meaningless stance clearly cause otherwise they’d just move on with their 6 mica loadout in game

Interestingly, in a Rafale documentary called “Rafale Confidential” published in 2014, this is seen for a French Rafale aircraft, the extra 2 pylons is seen as “open” to being used in the cockpit, indicating the wiring exists for the aircraft.

there is a difference between the situation with m2k 5f/rafale and RMV, and that is that 5f/rafale got its weaponary bcs other countries carried those pylons/weapons, but RMV got its hammers bcs a certain 2000N testbed was made to testfire AASM, and the D series was made on the 2000N base, and i dont know how i feel about it since obv 2000 D R1 didnt get the hammers, that might be because of the age of that plane and the hammer, but still idk how to feel abt it.

marketing lie (this is a joke)

Just noticed the 2 little RWR(?) bits on lower forward section of the fuselage are not green, like the other things that someone said were RWR bits. On the pictures of Rafales with French circles, it seems they’re green IRL. Is this wrong or am I finding poor representations of it?

If you’re referring to Direct Support’s screenshot those are the pylons for the targeting pod

No, look at the model in game. The lil bits on the underside of the fuselage on the Rafale’s model are no longer green. The rest of the surfaces similar to it are green. But these ones are not.

what proves that? i mean, you can have the software to be ready, but no wires behind it,… nothing is proving that wires are there ^^"

only that software is ready for them.

because : Software =/= Wires
it’s alike putting a button for a VBA program, but nothing is coded so triggerring it doesn’t do anything

man, i will be grinding the Rafale now, thanks everybody for your hard work with getting the extra missiles !!

Why are people pissed Rafale getting 8 pylons instead of 6 ? It was already nerfed to the ground enough (no properly modelled AESA + no MICA-IR)

If they are really defending realism and not just complaining because they have to play competent now, let’s give MICA-IRs and the AESA radar to the Rafale. But I don’t see them defending that

Getting extra missiles and fucking up the CMs. One step forward, half a dozen backwards.

i didnt pay attention, what happened to the CM?

We lost 32 large caliber (good) for 16 large caliber (eh) and a handful of standard caliber (more eh)

We were objectively better off with 32 than what we ended up with. The most they should have done was allow you to pick this if you didn’t like the large 32. We didn’t need more CMs, and by people sooking we’ve ended up shafted.

well see but the Rafale is french it has to be bad [!] rofl

gaijin made it bad the instant MICA-EM didn’t got their 80km range.

but now, we just have frankenstein of a Rafale,… and nothing will change it now
(and first of all,… F.3R wasn’t necessary)

well last time i checked fixing MICA’s is and a standstill. i would rather have 8 current MICA’s then 6 current MICA’s.

and thats an issue? like half the modern jets in this game are frankensteins rofl
