literally who cares? if you go bellow 800Kph at top tier you’re done for. I don’t get why that would be relevant in a FOX 3 meta. it’s WAY more important to be able to maintain high speed and turn well at said high speed, like the rafale does well compared to the mirage 2K5F.
It’s like being mad that the older bf 109 has a better turn rate at 300kph than the Me-262. completly irrelevant.
If anything you guys should be mad that the rafale top speed is too low currently. the rafale A was able to reach mach 2…
They will never change that sadly because Dassault limited the air speed, sadly gaijin take this as it is and it literally break it wings, while it obvious that Rafale could go higher without structural damage
Tbh low speed turns are very important for Rafale right now, since it has a similar playstyle to the Mirage 2K5F due to the short range and high G of MICA EMs : pull people into a turn fight and slap a MICA at them all while flying low.
I get 3-5 kills average when I do that in the Mirage. But when I try to move fast and try to clash with people in high speed fights, I usually end up dying to a stray AIM-120
It should be the 4.5 gen jet with the lowest RCS, Dassault worked to make it “discreet”, mainly with the form of the air intake, where the compressor blades shouldn’t be visible by a radar
yes, and if you bleed all your speed doing that you won’t get very far, the rafale is able to turn hard while keeping it’s speed up unlike the mirage 2K5F. stay above mach 1 and you won’t have any problems
P sure Gripen E would have the lowest RCS if added. Besides Rafale/EFT/Gripen low RCS features would be noticeable only in front aspect where RCS is generally the smallest.
Modern radars are simply too strong for these low RCS features to make effect especially at ranges we fight in game.
Gripen E doesn’t have stealth features? SAAB didn’t really bother with it on account of the rate of radar advances and the cost of development/maintenance. Gripen E carries a very potent EW suite though to jam most systems tracking it, but that still isn’t exactly a reduced RCS.
Yeah, but it doesn’t beat out Rafale’s reduction measures, from what I’ve read. Possibly if Rafale is laden it comes out very similar, but I am not entirely informed on that aspect. But it also doesn’t really matter all too much in the long run, as both platforms benefit far more from their ECM suites than any low observability/reduced RCS aspects.
