Dassault Rafale - Variants, Characteristics, Armament and Performance

really hope that airbrake gets around soon, i cant win a single dogfight without use of the secret tool due to how fast im going since the thing super cruises at like 70% throttle

Pull back the throttle

i do unfortunately not an airbrake

Apparently not

But AASM IIR would’ve been enough since those are fired to a GPS point, then in final guidance they’re auto-aiming themselves thanks to the IIR imager.

You’re both right, it only depends on which AASM guidance type you refer to.

AASM have 3 guidance types:
IOG+GPS
IOG+GPS+IIR
IOG+LASER

And the third one was only added to F.3’s standards.

thanks

AASM-1000 are for F.4 standards

F.3R aren’t qualified.

pretty sure that guy believes this is for some reason an F.4??? lmao

It seems to me that the EFT is still very much a UFO in high AOA flight while the Rafale seems to behave much more realistically.

Rafale should have better nose authority owing to its close-coupled canards.
In fact, EFT’s long-arm canards should make it the least suited for low-speed high-AOA maneuvering out of all the canard-deltas.

AMK upgrade was proposed for a reason on the EFT.

From the datamine server with the screenshot that i posted, but seems like he removed it sadly, that is where my hope came from.

Ladies and Gentlemen, AESA (RBE-2AA) has been successfully implemented into WT Raf :)

My bad, I thought for an instant the the AESA was implemented on the dev server

We will see it when update drops! Hopefully 17th :)
