we are talking about tgp limitation. if you fire a gps munition at 30 km, the POI of that munition will be in the air, bcs tgp cannot stab onto ground more then 20km above the limit.
the super mirage 4000 was a big inspiration for the Rafale A (demonstrator) and known by all as the precursor of it, it’s not fair to put it behind the 5F
@Gunjob How come Rafale cannot get the two additional MICA but Su-27SM can receive a twin pylon that does not even fit the aircraft irl? The space between the nacelles was made larger on the Su-35 and allowed them to fit the additional ordnance. The Su-27SM is totally incapable of actually mounting this ‘upgrade’.
That is not relevant in the slightest, if they were biased towards the Su-27 or MiG-29 they’d fix their FM’s. They have far more issues than the Mirage 2000 by contrast. Nonsense statement on your part.
It is not because there are 14 hardpoints that the 14 points can carry all types of weapons, in your original post you announce that points 4 and 11 can carry weapons, but there is no proof concerning these points. Point 7 has never, to my knowledge, carried weapons for French aircraft
in the photo of the article(which date to 2014) you can see a rafale F3R carrying 2 meteor 2 MICA EM and 2 MICA IR so as well as 6 AASM a configuration that proves that French F3 rafales at one point even if it is only for testing are capable of carrying AAM on 8 different pylons
