It’s also basically admitting an inadequacy in your air force if your new primary plane gets cancelled

India didn’t sanction Russia correct. The US sanctioned Russian defence industry though which led to Egypt canceling Su-35 orders for example. Egypt risks U.S. sanctions over Russian fighter jet deal: U.S. official | Reuters

Pretty sure they’re already trying to develop their own 5th gen, I’m not exactly sure. But would be funny if the US sells India some F-35s even though India has S-400s when they canceled the F-35 orders for Turkey due to them purchasing S-400s as a concern.

Egypt: I consent.

Russia: I consent.

Uncle Sam: Isnt there someone you forgot to ask?

it’s not something like deflector shield that keeps every attack away.
SPECTRA system is not so advanced now, many other planes also have similar system(including J-10CE I think)
and the aesa seeker with digital backend have the ability of cheating rwr and ecm system
I mean, it’s a relatively newer missile with more latest tech.

Especially when you already have access to the plane to study it and its systems

(Can’t elaborate here, PM if you don’t understand)

It isn’t obvious to me, what is that supposed to mean? I missed something probably

This is the third time a staff member has had to come into here and warn people over discussing on-going conflicts in which i’ve had to delete many conflict & off topic replys. So i will lay it out again;

3.1.6 political and religious agitation and propaganda, including propagation of conflicts; discussion of actual political and religious issues is also prohibited due to the provocative nature: we urge you not to draw comparisons between war-historical themes and any of the political events;

Any more comments from this point forward which break this rule will result in action taken against your account.

is this kind discussions ok, or should I simply just avoid anything related

Talking about the Rafale’s systems is fine, Just avoid any talk of current conflicts regarding their uses of the systems.

In regards to the quote, I’d avoid that topic.

Hope that answers your question ^^

does nobody here have anything on the rafale’s IAS speed limit?
like there ain’t no way that its actually 1458 km/h

Some aircrafts seem to be getting a 1.1 (instead of 1.05) multiplier for Vne, even though the devs explicitly confirmed the “1.05 rule” for Vne in a EFT bug report.

Yes and no, about one more source is missing but most are there. What we understand is that the Rafale A had a speed limit of 800 knots at sea level which translates to 1,555 km/h ripspeed. Further sources state that Rafale D has the same flight qualities that of the Rafale A. Rafale D is the prior designation of the Rafale C. Maybe it’ll be reported when June patch dev server comes.

To clarify, while the document does say that “it can fly at that speed indefinitely” this is to be expected since like most other planes, the IAS limit is structural rather than engine related (In contrast its Mach limit is engine related thus time limited).

But right in front of the 1400 kph IAS limit it states: “Reason: structural strength”

Spoiler

The tech mod decided to completely ignore that, and say “The source only says that at this speed one can fly indefinitely”

Comparing Rafale A with Rafale C is like apples and pears.

Yes and no, in this case Dassault explicitly stated Rafale D had the same flight qualities of Rafale A. And we know Rafale D is the pre-designation of Rafale C, same aircrafts but different designations.
