Are these r-74s?

yep

Guys, please explain what formula is used to calculate weapon debuffs. Because the Su-30 has ~2 times less weapon debuffs than the Rafale.

I hope it’s clear what I mean, because I’m writing through a translator.

You’re comparing a guided bomb to air to air missiles , of course guided bombs will have more of a negative impact than air to air missiles

no that is clearly russian bias

What kind, and are they unfinished in that picture?

I needed to compare the same weight and resistance. But then how to explain it?

that is not possible because they have completly different weapons with different drag and different mass

Same weight and same parasite drag will favour the Su-30SM due to its higher thrust, making an increase in weight and drag less significant.

Thats why thr Su-30SM is less affected by its suspended ordinance than the Rafale with its relatively weak engines.

The thing is that lighter and less drag missiles have a greater impact on the aircraft. I guess I just don’t understand something

AIM-120 -4.1 climb rate
(147kg)

Mica-EM -8.6 climb rate
(112kg)

That’s probably because the aircraft you check the aim120 on is an f15 (I guess?), which is far heavier than the Rafale.
With a bigger plane (and thus more powerful engines for a similar TWR), a hard point of the same weight will have more impact on the lighter aircraft, meaning the jet performances will degrade faster. The Rafale is a light airframe, and thus the MICA have a bigger impact than the AIM 120, that while bigger, are still « smaller » in ratio when installed on the f15

This explains a lot. Thank you very much.
