We have info regarding 80m correction in a test Let’s assume max possible correction is 160m
Apparently the seeker starts looking for the target at 1500m
Arctan (160 / 1500) ~= 6 deg
So the field of view would be 2x6 = 12 deg
Of course this is assuming that the weapon design is optimized so that the maneuverability is not the only relevant bottleneck that determines the 80 or 160m correction limit. (I.e. the optics and sensor are selected to match what the weapon could actually take advantage of kinematically).
If you look at the comment again you’ll notice that he shows picture of what the camera sees (si when it’s active), and it’s definitely much bigger than 80 or 160m. The 2km value should be correct, although I guess someone can actually find where this is in hoogle map to actually get the dimensions of the ground it’s looking at in the picture
