Is there a reason why NCTR isn’t shown in the cockpit for sim?
Croatia (by their minister of defence) might look to upgrade and modernize rafale’s armament.
(I heard a lot those f3r were still pesa for some reason so maybe that ? those rafale could be modernized up to the f4.1 standard, and, as far as i understand, putting mica ng on them is possible after it has been tested etc…)

As I wrote above, students who do not know hydro-gas dynamics complained that their beloved plane was being humiliated
I did not deal with that flag, can only briefly see comments about it. But like i said don’t discuss removed comments here, If you want clarification you can DM me and i’ll tag the mod who dealt with it.

Its true it got buffed during dev
Now the seeker has a smaller beamwitdth (went from 15° to 7°) which makes it the hardest missile to notch at close range but it also means that in longer ranges it will be easier to notch if you dont keep a tws lock
aim 54 all variants also got that buff beamwitdth is now 6°
In addition with the Rafale buffs the mica reaches 20 km with ease

I mean ill be honest
A Rafale can absolutely walk the the F15 like a dog now even in bvr depending on the range
and in a dog fight its not even a competition matter of fact the minute you are within 10 km of the rafale you already lost the engagement if he has mica
And putting the rafale on a notch early on the fight is good yes but while that happens he will be launching micas at you while notching

Keep in mind that what is shown in the documentary might not be exhaustive.
I would be surprised if RBE2 AESA’s scan area is as limited as Zaslon which was the first fighter PESA and known to have limitations due to unavailability of better computers in the USSR at the time
Also, is the 140 deg in azimuth proven from other sources?
I can’t get 140 deg from the documentary frame:
The radar is a fixed radar with a confirmed gimbal limit of 140 degrees, it doesn’t move.
Sure, but the 140 degree scan option was originally from this documentary, if they’re gonna add it, it’s only right they limit themselves to what can be verified. I have not seen 140x32 degree scan option even if it is possible.
RBE2’s scannable volume of space will still be overall much greater even if the vertical coverage is reduced once they have fixed the range. It’s still lower ranged than the RDY when it should be reaching out much further than any other radar in-game in many of the modes.
Not exactly the same thing, but would be nice to have it above the overlay radar display as well.
MFDs are cool and all but usually hard to read in WT
