Which model is that? I’ve only ever seen rafales with up to 4 AAM and that’s only the 4.1 standard iirc

Yeah that’s what I thought. Hopefully they just “add” the NG missile to give france a boost in range. That would really only make sense if they also added the 77-1 and the 120C-5. Either way it’ll be a rat plane

They could just give current MICA the missing 30km. 50km max range is MICA IR iirc.

Ideally they just fix the regular MICA and the platform does the rest. I would want the NG to be its own thing rather than nerfed to the ground to be on that level.

the max range is worthless if it doesn’t have the energy to go that distance, and right now it doesn’t. The extra energy lost while maneuvering wouldn’t somehow make it go that far. Really it just needs a stronger booster.
Perhaps didn’t come across correct. Currently mica wobbles itself out of energy, so even the 50km is unachievable. I would want them to unfuck it so it has even a hope of getting near, even vaguely near, the correct max range. Whether they have to fudge numbers to achieve it, or not.

Nah, it’ll drop relatively correct, except for energy retention.
Then to account for this, they’ll nuke the FM and remove the more effective missiles, as well as toning down countermeasures. Instead of addressing the major issue with the FM. Just given what happened to the other scary eurodelta.
