ESA radars in the game are not in their final state and some important features are not implemented yet.
This is true that there is no problem for ESA radars to track detected targets outside the scan zone while searching new contacts there. They can theoretically work simultaneously in BVR and ACM modes or search targets in two zones e.t.c. Reasonable assumption about this may turn to improvements of ESA radars in the game in next updates.
That would be nice. ESA radars should periodically search in different separate zones for more targets (Flash search)
Can you tell us what further changes are planned (ESA generally) or is it still too early to talk about ?
Also, hopefully ESA radars will get their inherent feature of low-probability of intercept.

I’ll take the chance to ask about this, are there any plans to fix radars with IRST switching from PD to IR (IRST) even when the sensor switch is non-sensical? Currently, the radar suddenly switches to IRST when the enemy deploys any amount of countermeasures at any aspect and this happens very often. I believe quite a few reports have been made about the issue but I’m not sure if they actually went anywhere.
I know this is off-topic but: Why is the developer tag not highlighted blue like the various moderator tags are? I didn’t even realise you’re a dev until I read the replies 😅
Range updates with target point. Lasing optional.
i think they can pick if they want it highlighted or not. you see this with moderators n stuff as well, sometimes it is, sometimes it isnt
Rafale’s TV should have maximum horizontal of 232 degrees. // Gaijin.net // Issues
Rafale’s TV sensor has wrong vertical limits // Gaijin.net // Issues
this wing rip speed is slightly annoying, i was tabbed out for barely 30 seconds. even better, while landing i was hit with 2 ramaams
Why is the wing rip speed only ~1450 anyway? What makes Gaijin think that?
Last I heard, the speed is limited to preserve the RAM coating, Gaijin took that as a structural limit.
even the ‘structural’ limit modeling is not entirely correct as the wings wont immediately snap off when you go above that speed

I don’t know of any source that supports the RAM coating speed limit hypothesis. An trust me I’d love to get my hands on one.
It is mostly said because the rafale has a similar enough airframe compared to the eurofighter and the limit seems really low especially when you go from the mirage to him, but it’s more of a guess still looks to be it but yeah can’t prove it without source.
