Believing into Wikipedia myths

vs

Yea, reality

Whats confusing; X-Ray says PESA, TT says F.3, this now says F.3R

I honestly don’t know what to believe now >_>

Isn’t bvvd a lead dev? If he himself says AESA I’d assume it’s true and whatever doesn’t match up is WIP

I mean if in the detailled information they put f3.r for me it means it is f3.r, they could have only put rafale as name when you don’t hover it and so aesa make sense.

Don’t believe anything. Its war thunder, some people believed in 8 amraam typhoon with proof. Well… Its 6.

I believe Mike said AESA, and something along the lines of WORK IN PROGRESS

And if its still PESA, we’ll report the living hell out of it

I believe in “mixing a bit of everything up” at this point X)

The radar ui and performance is mostly copy pasted rdy. Its tws is one bar which i believe is wrong for rdy but whatever.

Also among the first thing that should be tested with Rafale is Mach 1.4 Supercruise with 6 MICAs at low alts like @MiG_23M stated and the 2130 km/h at high alts.

I mean, if its truely intended to be an F.3R, then only the TT card name, Radar name and perhaps 2-3 missing bombs are things that are “clrearly” wrong.
I am not expecting AESA or PESA working properly any time soon anyway and since both RBE2 can’t steer, EFT and other top tiers are still going to have some advantage (CAPTOR-M looks quite good to).

For now its has been said multiple times the RBE2 is placeholder and not finished at all

still it would be surprising that they decided to introduce F3R this early

in all logic, starting small with a decent but not ground breaking radar first, then adding a F3R with Meteors and AESA later down the road would’ve made more sense

And it would’ve meant more grind, which let’s face it, is a good thing for Gaijin.

i’m really not a fan of introducing latest shint thing, only for it to be broken while more reasonable things exist and can be implemented accurately (except when there’s no other option, like Magic II for example).

RBE2-AA aesa and RBE2 pesa

but rafale f3-R should have RBE2-AA

What would be the advantage of getting an aesa radar also if it is that one that the rafale will get ?(compared to a classic radar)

I heard things like it didn’t triggered that much rwr of other planes or that you can’t notch it but it is even right ?

looks something wrong with AASM’s trajectory?

If you have tried the Su-34’s PESA, you will notice how quickly it finds targets and accurately it keeps targets tracked. It will be quite similar to that but with MUCH more precision, accuracy and speed.

Probably will be missing it’s loft but that’s to be checked
