It’s weird to see a Rafale with only 2 MICAs, usually they have the 2+2+2 configuration
it has 2 extra launch rails on
so i suspect that it had 2 extra missiles and fired them in a training mission or something like that

I wonder if more things for the rafale are gonna be publicly released, now that DCS is gonna get an official rafale module from heatblur in collaboration with dassault. would be cool to compare the wt rafale to dcs one

Looks like it’s gonna be at minimum a Rafale C F3R standard due to Meteor inclusion, and will actually have sensor fusion according to its announcement:

That I can understand, because it would create weird situations like unnotchable sparrows/r40s/other radar missiles etc that are guided via slaving the cw illuminator to the irst.
did they state this, or was it just shown on the 2026 video?

the rafale will be made by a new studio thats under dassault
why wouldnt they make it as strong as possible
heatblur did the same with the F-14 which was able to rate at 30° per second on release and there was some other stuff which made it increadibly op

fairs, mirage 2k if i remember right is the second best rate fighter in the game as well lmao
given how bad radar and missile modeling in DCS is, I doubt it will be at all realistic

Yeah, tu illy enough recently war thunder despite all its flaws generally has had better FM and missile modeling compared to DCS
Facts, for example until recently, the mig-29 was able to do 16gs if you a funny roll in dcs
