Shouldve just used the kh38mt ir seeker as it has an infrared resolution comparable to a targeting pod. So you can target enemies 200km away.

Yeah it make sense f3r with only em, f4.1 which normally doesn’t bring much, but with ir and em and f4.2 with ng of both types eventually, now i can only hope for a pesa rafale.
They could also just buff the regular seeker head already in the game since it’s already underperforming a bit if I remember correctly
Pesa Rafale as rank 8 premium, would be the easiest money Gaijin can make…
Rafale f1 would make the most sense honestly as a premium, eventually some export rafale if they really want i guess.

Yeah, let’s just say that the MKK set the premium bar quite high at this point, in 2026 I could expect something like the Rafale you mentioned or a T1 Typhoon.

The F4.1 and F3R have basically identical air loadouts, while the F4.2 brings MICA NG for at least the IR (testified) and probably the EM (not known if testified yet).
Or alternatively the F4.1 might get both NG missiles, since the differences between the F4.1 and F4.2 are so minor even IRL
Nevermind i forgot a comma, i meant f4.1 would be pretty much the same as f3.r so making it different with mica ir was the best thing.

I would also much rather have a Rafale C “F.4” implement, which basically summerizes F.4.1, F.4.2 and F.4.3 - Also brings some visual (internal and external) differences;
for context; this is one of the two first french airforce F.4.2 which were seen last year

Considering the rafale C is still called a C F3 despite being a F3R makes me think that is what will happen. Aside from maybe very slight 3D model difference due to antenna differences, the 3 variants would be absolutely identical in game. I also don’t see Gaijin paywalling the MICA IR to a F4 and straight up give it to either both the C and M F3Rs, or if they feel spicy, only to the Rafale M (which would absolutely be a dick move if you ask me), while the F4 would have the NG variants
I mean, it is called F-3R in the statcard, just not in the main menu stuff, which is what still confuses me.

I say M LF.1 as premium and M F.1 or F.2 as tech tree.
Yeah they’re both F.3-R, I think it’s just a naming inconsistency. I’ve noticed the name of the plane on the wiki (in the url of the page and that if the render) is also inconsistent

I found quite funny the fact that gajin said no more absurdly high research cost for the last of the line vehicle and then they absolutely forgot about the M variant of the rafale

Each line has a total, and its divided by the number of mods. So it usually always costs the same to research the entire row.
Typhoon Tier 4 mods = 4x 26’000 = 104’000
Rafale Tier 4 mods = 2x 52’000 = 104’000
The US F-16A ADF before AMRAAM was like 100k just for the engine mod because it was the only thing in Tier 4
