Do we not want a realistic game?
That source literally says weight class and not weight
Oh thats some semantics right there. I’m assuming it’s a poorly translated French source.
Because what would the weight class be?
It’s a lightweight multirole airframe.
It’s in English… also it’s the rafale website itself
Ok so lets think logically here.
Unless Dassault are grouping all Rafales together you would not use the word “class”
If they are grouping all Rafales types together then we simply cannot use anything from Dassault unless they list the exact airframe model.
That’s exactly what’s happening lol
That makes more sense
At this point i don’t know what even is the point of the report. All the sources used, while primary, don’t mention the specific airframe. On the other hand, the source for 9400kg gives exact values for the C F3R which is in game. Only the fuel tanks can be up for debate, as DirectSupport gave an estimation of their weight according to average external fuel tank weights. But this would not equate to a large mass difference, maybe a few dozen kilos or so.
And, when considering that source, and others that state that Rafale B and M are about 600kg and 1 ton heavier than the C, they all line up in the 10 ton class. Trying to report the rafale C to be 10 ton would just be wrong based on that, because that would bring the Rafale M at over 11 ton, so it wouldn’t be 10 ton class anymore
Well. back to looking for sources to remove the 2x too many MICA EM and HMD. As well as removing FnF from the AASM.
dude they were tested on a f3r testbed. you won’t go anywhere with those, it’s just wasting time
While I agree with him that the extra 2 MICA should be removed, the HMCS was indeed tested.
I can understand you have difficulties finding accurate sources after watching this report, but that’s literally a 3 keyword search and two clicks to find the report. I’ll spare you the effort :
Do you need help translating the report or are you able to find google traduction website by yourself ?
i also agree the 2x mica should be removed, but they were tested on a f3r
as for aasm ir locking, i have no idea how that works irl so i wont comment on that
I did mass googling, did not find any references to it anywhere. Probably the issue of an english search engine
On every single other aircraft in game. Laodout is used as a balance method where BR fails. Except for the Rafale. Where it gets the best possible weapons fit and as a result. its just steamrolling every single top tier lobby.
If loadout isnt going to be used, then a BR increase should be used instead
You know… it does suck watching eurocanard fans fighting :(
You mean adding LOAL to AASM? Already internally reported by Gunjob.
I would love to fire the AASM at enemy spawn and let it automatically find enemy tanks and enemy SAMs.
