You talking in-game or irl?

Both
You can see here it only sees the moving tanks, not the stationary ones

You are right, so somehow TWS SEA that can detect SAMs and tanks will actually funnily be more useful than GMTI.

You will get the same problems heli face tho, detectng corpses too
Tho from high up, it will nto be that much of an issue.

Also, it relies on SAR, which was denied as a option for other radars, so idk if they will accept it.

That’s fine so long as I can slave the targeting pod to view the corpses. Ideally though I wouldn’t be spawning an aircraft so late into the match.

it will not be more useful at least in GRB and similar

if you have tried to use it on a helicopter you would know that it is just way too cluttered, with it detecting both friendlies and enemies as well as corpses

it my be useful for other modes where there is less clutter though

Then wouldn’t they have to remove TWS SEA since that’s how it works by mechanism?

I’m not a big fan of helicopters so I haven’t tried using them much. But would air to ground NCTR not help with this?

SEA can work by “Brute force”
Ships are giant radar returns on water, that makes them much easier to single out and process, and thats what Gaijin radars do in game.

yes and no

it might help slightly, but wont change the fact that your radar will just show a big blob of targets
unless they add a filter so it only shows SAMs, the display will just be too cluttered and too many targets to switch through

@Boeing_Fan … thank you for your contribution?

It should be noted that ground targets does not necessarily mean tanks. It could mean bunkers buildings, factories, etc. Basically big things.

The BRM don’t like it when you put dev in the title when it’s not dev related

Would be weird for it to not detect something like SAMs or tanks though, i.e. ground vehicles.

Is it possible to check the speed in the missile window in the cruise phase ?

Would’ve done it, but did not download dev server this time

Sensor view said Mach 0.94-0.96 that it was doing in dev-server.

Ok thank you

Might be slightly overtuned. Don’t have a primary source for speed, but the number 0.93 sticks in my mind for the cruise phase, idk where i read it though, could try to find the source again tomorrow if need be
