I mean, the rafaele buff reports being fine is one matter.

But him nefariously closing rafale nerfs is another.

Those are the reports refused without check from my understanding as they were written by that person and devs are taking no chance
The only reports of importance according to Smin are missing spall liners. From this, I personally infer the rest of the reports are about to 3D model changes or obscure mechanics that are not in game.
And as I said, we will see about all the rafales reports that were implemented as the devs are going through them again

The exact wording is that he would recommend remaking. This could quite easily mean that the rest of the reports could easily include reports for features in game which have been reviewed and are not valid.

Yes, that’s what I meant in obscure mechanic

I’m specifically saying not obscure mechanics, but say for example a report on the performance which was reviewed and deemed invalid and is therefore not “worth remaking”

Ah yes, ok. Possibly, but from my understanding is that they did not even review those reports, they just preemptively deactivated them.

I’ve been flying the Rafale in the Nuclear Escalation event, and now that the S-300 has been added, I’ve noticed something strange.

Every time I’ve been shot down by an S-300, my RWR never detected it. I wasn’t getting any radar warning at all before being hit.

So far, it’s happened twice. Once while the S-300 was in front of me, and once while it was behind me. In comparison, my RWR detects the Buk without any issues.

Is this a bug, or is the Rafale unable to detect the S-300’s radar and missilse at all?

I wouldn’t be surprised if they accidentally forgot to add the S-300 radar to the RWR library.

You can read above dozen of comments from people that are generally critical of the reports and the discussions have largely remained respectful. You could also go to DM with @Macron-Spokesman if you have qualms with him, o r any mod to discuss what you believe was faked, if you don’t feel like trying to post something that follows the rules of the forum in this thread.
Especially since this thread is often very scrutinized so that it remains respectful (The real battlefield is in the dedicated thread)

Edit : well, that didn’t miss, did not even have time to reply

The S-300 is a SARH missile, so you won’t see “MSL” but you’ll still see the launch like you would with an AIM-7.

And basically since nuclear thunder is just a mess of RWR warnings its kinda hard to differentiate threats from background noise I guess ?

Sometimes it’s hard to differentiate but the S300 is one that is very much clear and dominate your RWR screen.

That’s fair, I haven’t touch the game above 10.0 for a few months now, and last I played nuke thunder it was with the Mig23’s terrible RWR.
But can’t a S300 lock be attributed to it shooting at another target as well ? for example at another player or even at some munitions that happen to be roughly in line with the radar and your RWR.

Yes and it happens regularly and often.

Kinda strange that the Rafale RWR doesn’t appear to even detect the command guidance signals from SA-10/SA-20 upon launch of the missile. Obviously it should detect the terminal homing illumination from the track radar but RWRs with capability to warn pilots of SAM launches by detecting the radio command guidance signals to the missile have existed for quite some time now.

I mean for example the AN/APR-39 on the original Apache had SA-6 launch warnings for a missile with similar initial guidance principles as S-300 (initial command guidance to terminal SARH)

Ah, okay. The problem is that I’m not getting any launch warning at all. I don’t see a “missile launch” indication or any other warning from the RWR. The first indication I get is the missile hitting my face, which is usually too late.

I thought the Rafale’s RWR/defensive suite was capable of detecting Fox 1, Fox 2, and Fox 3 launches.

edit: Just saw your picture, i dont get any of that, not showing i am being pinged by s300, or a launch.

I also have, since Nuc-esc been available again, been having issue with my MAWS sometimes not triggering on missiles, while more often false alarming on flares
(sorry for the absolutely horrid formulation rn, i’m very delirious)
