What loadout/fuel does it state?
Btw, I was giving an example, not necessarily that a primary source stated Mach 1.37. But that if two primary sources conflicted, the more specific values should be chosen regardless of which is higher or lower.
But for the primary sources stating Rafale A at Mach 1.4, and 40,000 feet they never stated any loadouts or fuel load so it is reasonable to assume clean loadout and minimum fuel.
Which is alot more believable than M1.4 with 6 mica’s i must say.
Ahh yes, sorry i’ve misread that
With F404 engine on the right instead of M88 for the Rafale A, still believable?
Just because its an F404 does not mean better or worse, its quite likely the F404 was modified to provide similar performance across the envelope, since it is for testing and not for a long service life.
Rafale A also has some aerodynamic differences so i was expecting you meant there was a similar source for RAF C.
While there are some, Dassault doc states that the Rafale D, a designation provided to all production Rafales had the same flight characteristics as the Rafale A.
You guys have this much skepticalness about everything? Luckily we do have a primary source stating it climbed to 40,000 feet and then accelerated to Mach 1.4 in that same flight, but there’ll always be an excuse or reason, even if it’s the most solid sources put together for a bug report.
Im just going to say “Bingo Fuel” and leave it there when it comes to the Rafale bug reporting community of late
Ah, I see. So now, you’re bargaining, since you actually don’t know nor you have any actual evidence.
Are you genuinely trying to sell Rafale A as Rafale C??
RafaleA has different wing, tail, fuselage and weight vs Rafale C and in tests you provided as “evidence” doesn’t even have 2 M88s, but one 404 and one 88, while 404 was cleared for blower as it’s been flying on RafaleA since 1986…and you even knew it and still provided that as an “evidence”??? Is that an innocent mistake too?
How about we start pasting ITR from EAP, or acceleration from EJ200 tuned to 230’s levels, or just put F16XL’s ITR to F16C?? Who cares, an F16 is an F16, right??
As an engineer, yes aha

I forgot to mention, the original supercruise report was not fully implemented to Mach 1.4 because developers stated this:
Gaijin.net // Issues
The Rafale C report did not contain the primary Rafale A supercruise data, which shows that other aircraft of similar design (Rafale A) does produce similar results. The Rafale A data will be submitted with the new supercruise report to show developers that aircraft of similar design also achieves similar results.
So, let’s examine the flight envelope of the famous RafaleA, who’s fantasy projection flies for a whole year and a half in WT, unchecked…

I was thinking about putting the Eurofighter’s datapoint into this graphic, but ppl would cry UFO.
Anyway, the RafaleA, who’s lighter than the RafaleC, gets literally left in the dust by an F16C (going by the envelope I’d say B.52, but I’m not sure) in supersonic in both 1g and 5g sustained performance.
Rafale is indeed better in subsonic, but that’s about it. In supersonic, it’s a dog.
The actual combat coded RafaleC (that we have in game) who’s heavier and has all the antennas, pylons and stuff can only be worse.
EDIT: In WT RafaleC at 4km (13.000ft) ASL/M1.3 with 100% fuel and 8 MICAs does 7.67g sustained…an increase of almost 2.7g from RafaleA in graphic.
You’re putting stock in this chart?
Loud and wrong, Rafale A’s empty weight is 9,500kg while the Rafale C is 9,350kg.
Primary source:
Not really.
“Le Rafale C
est un appareil monoplace commandé par l’Armée de l’Air. Cette version présente une
masse à vide de 9,5 t”
Now, this isn’t the F3 standard, let alone F3R, which got AESA radar (one of the lucky 26 :D), Link16, DDM-NG, etc, all of which increased weight.
…or you know better than the Ministry of Defense who operates them?
What am I supposed to do with your bug report?
I gotta commend you for finding this source though, it does have some useful information I will parse through.
You may start with RafaleM’s speed limit of M1.6, if you wanna use pre-F3R weight.
