To you, it seems like only airframe and engines are relevant for BVR, when it is at best only partially true.
But keep ragebaiting if you want, just make you seem less and less relevant

They are the mostly relevant metrics in War Thunder. They are also metrics that were considered important for development of the Eurofighter.
Arguing about radar etc is rather pointless because the implementation in War Thunder is rather arbitrary and that the US radars represented in game are far older than the radar represented in Rafale.
Some say Indian SPECTRA is nerfed, but idk. Anyway, we clearly can’t conclude anything on the aircraft’s quality from just that considering how flawed the Indian strategies and doctrine were during this operation
You keep mixing IRL and war thunder performances in your discussion. Yet, on one hand, the rafale is dominant in war thunder, despite being nothing special since it got shot down by a PL15 (E ?) IRL ?
If we were to speak about that rafale shotdown, there are clearly many points to take away from this.
I can confirm this is very much the French doctrine, the planes are designed specifically for this. I see Rafales and Mirages train for this all the time
They fly super low and use the terrain to hide
I am not mixing anything.
IRL the performance of the Rafale is nothing special. Its turn rate is rather good but its acceleration, climb, etc is on par with other similar 4th Gens.
In-game the plane far outperforms it’s IRL counterpart due to being pieced together and attempting to meet arbitrary super-cruise claim that game engine cannot model well. This is why from an airframe perspective, the high altitude supersonic turn performance of the plane is superior across the board to the Eurofighter…a plane who’s core design was predicated around high altitude supersonic performance.
Brit doc shows Mach 1.6 STR that is similar to F-16C and lower than ESR-D requirement. Air Machi document that was used for STR report will also show STR at 5000m identical to F-16C. Indian MMCRA document also shows F-16 Block 60 w/o CFTs having slightly better sustained turn rate at 5000 feet compared to Rafale.
In-game the Rafales STR performance at high altitude is 150% that of the F-16C and also a good bit superior to Eurofighter.
You lost me there.

You interpreting my post like that shows how bad you can read
Where did I said that the f22 has similar flight performance to the f15?
Trolls like you doesnt deserve that kind of treatment buddy.
I brought documents. You brought personal attacks.
You mean brit documents that is questinable about Rafale’s performance? Yea no thx.
The British documents are consistent with other public documents about Rafale flight performance. Air Macchi doc also shows SEP similar to F-16 and MiG-29.
First, we don’t have your parameters shown on your picture, what are those?
SAS Modes?
But anyway, i’ve done another, from 0 to 1960 km/h at 1524m (5000ft), no SAS mode:
And we can see that Rafale and EF-2000 are better at Higher and Lower speed, but there is a point between 850 and 1050 km/h speed in which the F-16C is currently out-rating both Rafale and EF-2000.
the High speed turn rates are better because of the SEP being better on Rafale and EFT
the Low speed turn rates are due to Delta wing lift
but in between the F-16C is on top.
at least in-game.
no
Also iirc the Jammers aren’t omnidirectionnal. And if i’m not mistaken Rafale F4.1 or F4.2 was to integrate 1 or 2 more jamming antenae. Probably to give omnidirectionnal jamming.
at some point, that guy talked of the document, then talked about Indian MMRCA at 5000ft,… then shows a graph without showing the parameters,… we can’t know!
But fair enough, i’ll go using 11000m altitude now:
and what i see is similar to the previous at 1524m, even more in favor of f-16 in high speed sectors.
yes we can, becasue he is directly comparing ingame performance to that graph
so why do lower speeds matter if we have a datapoint for mach 1.6?
