I’ve yet to see any credible Source myself, let alone any mention for sich plans from Dassault / French Gov; as “GaN” for RBE2-AA has been a thing in media since 2014, other saying its a thing since F.4.1, even though there is sign it was ever done.
For F.4.2 there is “GAN” mention, but thats related to Carrier Strike Group communication.
Well i don’t really care about their missiles and stuff, but what i care is what looks like to be mbda weapons that will be integrated on their standard before the french one.
I mean MICA on Su-30MKI sounds funny as hell to me
Though that’s from my perspective of middle tiers enjoyer who just likes to watch top tier players complain about how broken their tier is
Not really though? The MICA was integrated on MKI after delivery, there’s no reason the others could
Well they could be integrated too technically, but they weren’t
The MKI can use MICA irl, it’s only fair it gets it
I read your message too fast, my bad
Yeah the French Rafale definitely shouldn’t get foreign weapons
The game will be boring if everyone gets everything (already half happening lol)
So that would put the duty cycle at around 10%, and confirms that the 9.6 kW reported in that news article a while back is probably about right.
Interestingly an average power of 1,000 W (or possibly 960 W if we take peak power to be 9.6 kW and assume average is also being rounded up similarly) isn’t that much more than the RDY (800 W) and is quite a bit less than CAPTOR-M (1,250 W).
Also ~1,000 seems like a slightly generous interpretation of 838.
Yes, several sources prior to the RBE2-AA’s introduction had predicted “around 1,000 T/R” and left it at that. Specific numbers as you know, had been short of that.
1 ton hammer doesn’t look slow at all in test footage. So why are the 250’s so slow ingame?
Especially if the speed of the aircraft when launching is also figured into the equation.
