Dassault Rafale - Variants, Characteristics, Armament and Performance - Part 2

That isn’t clear is it? There’s already another symbology in that area, and I wonder if it’s preventing symbology overlap.

The HMD symbology is different between aircraft (hence Rafale has completely different symbology to the A-10, while using the same HMD) so you need to prove the Rafale has that symbology.

Looking forward to this thing

Looking forward to it no longer having iff hmd, will be nice for other planes to have somewhat of an advantage in sim (it’s still gonna dominate)

Yea, i know It doesn’t have IFF hmd anymore

But i don’t care, i still want It for funny carrier ops with the pookies on denmark

This documentary does showcase HMD looking a lot like what we have on-dev server now and it does showcase the IFF.

That’s cool, so it’s a full color hmd?
Also real hmd would be somewhere in between old and new rafale hmd

Yes, seems to just show color for friendly/hostile.

If it does not come this time, a crusade must begin. Going to be very upset.

Scalp with ir/tv gps iog guidance wouldn’t be op considering the russians got a jet powered cruise missile last update.

I don’t think any cruise missile would be op in the current state of the game, as all cruise missiles with a terminal seeker require a lock before launch currently lol

It’s what makes Kh-59 functionally useless, you have to use it like a kh29

they couldve used a shorter range missile like MICA, just to make Meteor look better

Not too unlikely because mbda makes both

thats true, they could back up any claims they made since they obviously have real data on both missiles

it makes sense on the standpoint of showing off how much better their new missile is compared to their old one

This implies that MBDA, which services many of the same European countries that uses AIM-120, don’t have real data on the American missiles also.

just because Colt sold M4’s to the US military doesnt mean they had real specific data on the B-2
